We were staying a little distance away from Omonia square but decided to try this restaurant based on TA reviews. From the outside to be honest I was unsure but once inside and talking to the staff and tasting the food it was great. The...Cretan menu was a little different to many of the other restaurants around, but very good quality and value.More

Well received by the owner who advised us very well on the dishes and the wine, in a warm setting. The place is easy to access because it is close to a main street.

Recommended by the Hotel Manager, this authentic Cretian restaurant features the traditional foods of Crete! Our Waiter was incredibly knowledgeable not only about the food, but wine pairing as well. We sampled several dishes ranging from calamari, snails, goat, lamb and many traditional salads. The...food was so flavourful, so fresh, and so reasonably priced! If you are staying at the Melia in Athens, this is a MUST stop for an amazing meal!More

Good food, some different dishes every day. We went three times and each time they had new dishes. Excellent the vegetables cooked with olive oil. If you like the snails as we do, they are really tasty. Nice wines at a reasonable price. The waiters...are very helpful.More

A fantastic team serves excellent authentic Cretan food at the heart of Athens. Penelope and her team are all super friendly and accommodating, the food is being prepared with fresh ingredients daily and it is authentic and absolutely delicious. They will even cook your desired...dish if you give them enough notice. The restaurant was recommended by our hotel and we have been eating there for several weeks, great variety, it has always been nothing short of "outstanding'. Great wines are on offer too. Highly recommended!!!More

When you are looking for genuin Greek Kitchen , what has the Potential to realy Take a Smile in your face, this Place is highly recommanded. Not near the touristical Spots, but the charge for a Taxi is worth the Money. We took no Fish,...but the stuffed Piments, the sneals, the spare Ribs, the Goat( best with Rice) and the Liver with honey where simply outstanding. We got a Suggestion for a white Wine from Santorin, which was on Par with good Chablis, so for Wine Lovers ist seems to be a Place to go as well. The Prices are moderate, the Stuff does an awesome work. The Evening was a big Highlight in our Stay in Athen. About 90 Euro for 3 Persons, but the Wine only was 38 Euro. The Place is at a Little Square with Trees, so it has a nice Flavour too. Pro: Quality, Hospitality, Authentical, Wines, Interior. Kontra: 10 Minutes with Taxi from Plaka.More

Went there the twice in a week. A great balance of dishes. Had their grape leaf wrapped in rice and it is so good, the mix of sour and spiced rice was perfect. Had 2 different mains in two occasions and both taste like grandma's...food. Not to mention they send you off with a sweet dessert. Stuff dreams are made ofMore

Exarchia
Exarchia is in many ways Athens’ best-kept secret,
discovered by relatively few international visitors.
Located behind the main University and Polytechnic
buildings, it is unsurprisingly home to many students,
intellectuals and politicos. This is reflected in the
area’s vibrant street art and graffiti, which seems to
cover almost every inch of wall space. Some of the
best Athenian tavernas are located here, as well as

Costly! Athens is one of the cheapest if not the cheapest capital in Europe. Three course meals and couple of drinks for one person wouldn't be more than €30. Highly recommend the place as Alex the manager is generous and... More
