We stopped for lunch and ate on the back verandah with the cool breezes. The meals are enormous, we could have shared one lunch between us, but very nice.

It was very pleasant sitting on the back deck in the evening breeze. There was a limited menu on the Tuesday night we were there but provided enough choice. We were amazed at the very quick service. However, the lasagne had been baking too long...and had very hard sections. On the Wednesday night there was a longer menu and many more patrons. The steaks that night were tender and cooked as ordered. The salad had extra ingredients too, maybe because there had been a fruit and vege vendor set up out the back of the hotel that day.More
My mother and I came for dinner for the first time since new management and were appalled and upset by the way we were treated. The man serving behind the counter who is apparently the new owner (yikes) was loud, rude and argumentative. We were...told that we couldn’t have a jug sized serving of drink “because of the indigenous“ and when we questioned what that was supposed to mean he raised his voice at us drawing a lot of attention from people at the bar who were now staring at us. After this he was extremely rude in his demeanour towards us (And loud) for the rest of the night. My mum and I were the first to order in our group but the last to receive our meals (like 15 mins after everyone at our table was already eating).. Other indigenous locals have had similar experiences so it’s clear we are not welcome. With the towns racist history (and the Albion being known as “white mans pub”) you would think they would put more effort into their reconciliation and inclusion.. but sadly not.More

Went with another couple was great food nice publicans ice cold beer. Would definately go again seems best pub in town
After a fairly long drive on the developmental roads we were well and truly ready to stop for lunch. The men at the servo recommended the Albion because it had a nice deck to eat on. They were right, it was nice to sit out...the back under cover, the food was good and the staff friendly.More
Beautiful mixed grill the first night but looking for something we fancied the second night we were told no salads, no Barra or fresh fish, no bangers and mash only battered frozen whiting. Apparently too much effort to produce locally caught fish or buy sausages...from butcher 300m away. Pity.More
Best pub by far in town. Staff are super friendly as are the locals. The meals are the best I've had since I started travelling. I had the barra it was so good I went back the next night for the same. Short walk from...the caravan park. Couldn't be any better.More
