Very tasty food, perfectly executed in terms of cooking techniques. Savoury dishes had impeccable balance. Everything on the plate made sense and worked together to elevate the taste. Sweets were somewhat tipping over to the sugary side for my taste, but I guess that's a...More

Perfect small bistro. Staff were amazing (kind, knowledgable and attentive). We both had the laksa to start (was very tasty with succulent prawns and perfect level of spice), and the fish of the day for main (tiger fish with fennel and small chunk ratatouille). Finished...More

Strawberry gazpacho and Thai chicken caril was what we had tonight. In a number of visits over almost 2 years I have never had anything other than excellent food and service at BoHo Bistro.

There are a couple of resturants who display corkage prices for some reason but they all have a good range of wines, mostly from mainland Portugual.

Cooking with a view... fusion cuisine that combines elements of the Portuguese and Asian culinary traditions, cooked within view of diners in a relaxed yet refined space, in downtown Funchal. Located at the corner opposite the famous Hotel The Vine, Boho Bistrô is a small open theatre of fusion cuisine that combines the best traditional Portuguese and Asian flavours, in a cosy and classy atmosphere. It is a Chef’s place where locals and travelers enjoy live preparation of carefully selected fresh ingredients. Great cooking of exquisite and exotic food is the common cause and an open door for a journey of an awakening of the senses. At Boho Bistrô we can sit thirty-two guests at a time. What we lack in size, we make up for in our wish to put time on hold and lead you on an experience to remember.
