Beer Garden is the only place in Funchal where you can eat after 11 pm and until 4 am. The food is a comfort food style,our special is "Picado"(small pieces of beef,chicken or pork with a homemade special sauce and french fries and is usually accompanied with the traditional "bolo do caco"(bread). We also have the traditional poncha, and many other flavors of Poncha fruit of the season, like grape, "tomate ingles"(tamarillo), sugar cane, blackberry etc etc.

Great traditional food at very reasonable prices. Quick service and friendly staff. You always meet some lovely locals here and we recommend sitting on the ground floor terrace - the ‘traffic entertainment’ has to be seen to be believed!!
I could sit on this patio all evening long! The drinks here are great, especially the pitanga poncha! I love the atmosphere here and you always know a place is great when you’re surrounded by locals. A must try!
