Staff were surprisingly in cheerful moods despite the constant line out the door! The line moved very quickly. Got the desserts to-go and ate them in the park across the street.

These traditional custard tarts are so delicious and you will get them warm right from the oven. Although it is a very popular tourist attraction and the line may be down the block, if you get in the "take away" line it does move rather...More

Get there early or expect to queue! We were there over easter, bought a back of 6 pasteis and gobbled the lot up in the park opposite. We ate these at various places on our trip but known match the originals.

If you buy them on the day of boarding and if they were not subject to hot temperatures they should be good at least for 2 days
