What a delight! Excellent menu options with ample selection of authentic local cuisine which taste fresh and exquisite. Octopus & garlic shrimp are over the top. We brought 4 kids with us. And the owner & servers went above & beyond to give them special...attention and attend to their needs personally. You can see the passion and feel emotion the owner has put in every angle. Service was overall exceptional. Music was the highlight and a memory maker. Definitely an unforgettable gastro & music experience you have to experience to get a true taste of Lisboa.More

This is one of Lisbon's hidden jewels. This is not your standard tourist attraction, which is wonderful, and based on our experience, locals (who happend to be regulars) dine here as well. The proprietor and his family do a fantastic job of making clients feel...at ease and welcome. The fado singers and musicians were equally outstanding, and as each part / set goes through the evening, the vocalists' vocal range and the sort of songs they perform became more intense. The cuisine was excellent. From the starters to desserts. Hats off to the kind employees at the restaurant's entrance. The reason for the four stars is not because of the service or quality, but rather the demeanor of the server who collects the payment. I paid with my credit card and the server inquired whether I wanted to include the tip in the card charge. I would tip without having to be reminded anyway, especially if I spent more than roughly 150 euros and enjoyed my time. It was only a little unsettling, as tips are best offered freely rather than coercively. That mode of "hinting" makes the place lose class. I hope the management takes note of that. Otherwise, the experience was perfect. Obrigada to the team of Sr. Vinho!More

We came here with friends who were visiting from abroad to show them some Portuguese fado and it was a big success. The restaurant is really great, the atmosphere intimate and the fado music was amazing. The singers just stand in the middle of the...room but take breaks from time to time so you can still talk while enjoying typical Portuguese food. It’s quite pricey but for a special nights definitely worth it.More

Everything is close to perfection! Service, food and fado! You will enjoy fado sang by young and very tallented artists. The food is exquisite. Too much unnecessary oil with thr grilled octopus, for my taste, but obviously prepared with care and taste! Wine, even house wine...very good! Service is excellent. They asked all the time about our needs, offered to call a taxi, light but nice conversation. We will definetly come back. Mention must be made about prices : they are high. Count with a min of 55 euro/person. Consider that artists mudt also be paid! Worth every penny!!!More

A visit was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint, however he didn’t warn me about the costs starters are around e10 and mains start around e30 deserts e15 bottle of wine e30 but this includes the entertainment. So it depends on your...view of Fado sung in Portuguese I can only interpret the wail of lost love and dreams in the songs, good but not for us Booking is essential, and a taxi or Uber to get there and back as it’s off the beaten track in some dark side streets. This is the place where you can listen the living legends of Fado in Lisbon. You can either have a menu before or your drink and Fado.

Local friends recommended this place for us to enjoy good food and Fado. Took a Taxi as it is not too accessible otherwise. On entry, we were warmly greeted and given a very nice table, The waitstaff maintained the highest level of friendly and helpful...service throughout the dinner. Dinner was excellent; we enjoyed the quality, taste and quantity of all our dishes. After about an hour, the first Fado singer appeared. Wonderful artistry from her and the 2 accompanying musicians! We had dessert and coffee, staying another hour and a half, to listen to the next 2 singers. Both singers (Baritone, Soprano) were just as impressive. All 3 are young singers but obviously very experienced performers. After dinner, the Restaurant hailed a Taxi for us to go home. The price for the dinner was reasonable, given the fine dining, good wine (2012 Reserva Red) and the three memorable hours spent at this first-rate restaurant.More

We paid approx. £50 a head - 3 courses + house wine (the white was very good). You do get excellent Fado music which I can thoroughly recommend as well.
