We went at lunchtime and took the menu. The food was of a high standard and the wine was very good. Looses points for the strangely hollow ambiance and the wait staff were not very attentive.

The brasserie used to be my HQ. Hadn't been there for 2 years till last night. Sadly got disappointed by the food. No more rillettes with the bread, the croquettes were not crunchy and the filing disappointing. But worse, the fish was cold. Had it sent back to the kitchen. Was cold again by the time it reached the table. Price was also ludicrous for such meal. No Litvine in sight, maybe that's the problem. Before the father and/or the daughter was there to keep up the level.
Light should be dimmed up slightly. So dark it gives a headache.
Good service with nice waiters

Serious food in a serious place at a serious price. Superb sea bass that probably grew up swimming in butter and then was pan-fried in it....how can you go wrong!

My 3 guests included a well-known instantly recognizable Belgian figure, so I had asked for a discreet table, by telephone beforehand and again on arrival. I announced myself and this fact on arrival 30 minutes before my guests and was shown a table to wait. When the guests came they were told repeatedly by the ill mannered, incompetent woman at reception that I was not there yet and they should wait outside! This incident could have proved disastrous, and had the 90 year old lady, one of my guests, not entered and found me, the evening would have been a catastrophe. The reception woman has no business to be there. The service was slow but acceptable and the food good.
However, service, particularly reception, in such an establishment is crucial and I did not even receive an apology for the chaos.

The service was not only very slow, to the point that we had to remind the waitress that we were there whilst several people arriving after us were attended to (we waited 3/4 hour for our starter to be served, and they gave us sautéed scallops instead of carpaccio of scallops).
Our main dish was venison which had not been hung and was tough and dry. The portions were those of nouvelle cuisine.
Furthermore - and most importantly - the bill was exorbitant.
Never again.

Not sure what happened but we had to wait about 20 minutes to get the menu, then another 30 to place our orders, then 45 minutes to get our first dish........The restaurant was half empty and in the end we had no time to get desserts. Our dishes were nicely presented, very fresh seafood, elegant decoration but the service was incredibly slow and unacceptable. Also one should know that some of their tables are quite high with the chairs matching. Not everyone appreciates that sort of seating. To summarize we were quite disappointed with this brasserie which offers almost no vegetarian dishes (2 in our party). Worth mentioning there is a valet parking.

Food was absolutely great, however service was very slow. The wine we ordered was served when finishing the dish. We went on a Monday when most of the restaurants are close but still not an excuse to have such a poor service.
Even though it’s the ‘Brasserie’ we still expect an outstanding service which we didn’t have.

Food is good but wine is quite poor. We chose a bottle of Riesling which needed time to be chilled & aired out since it was probably sitting in the cellar for the longest time. The sommelier could have warned us about it but didn't until we told them about the 'cardboard' smell.
In any case, we wanted to try the brasserie first before going to the restaurant but seeing how disappointing it was, we're not inclined to try the restaurant at all.

Very good atmosphere, friendly staff, good wine list and very good food. I tried the soup as starter and the duck as main plate, both were delicious.
Possibility to have a drink in the bar before or after dinner.
Parking available.

It is not common to find a High level restaurant in the brasserie format with very elegant rooms and excellent quality food. When you arrive a perfect vallet service picks your car and a wonderful and elegant girl welcomes you at the entrance and escorting you to the table. The service is oustanding as well as the food prepared by a master chef. We had rice with wild mushrooms and sole muniere. My best appreciation to all the staff. We will come back soon.

This place is warm and nice. the decoration is nice.
The service is very professional ...The food was good. But unfortunately my chicken was raw and I saw it only after starting my dish quite well.... I told it to the waitress and a few minutes later she brought me a new plate... I appreciated, she was very professional.
Prices are a little bit high, but when you come to this place you should prepare.

you should definitley try the villa lorraine brasserie where you can find amazing food for a reasonable price in a great atmosphere. Staff is professional and cautious.

I've been there for a dinner with friends and have to say that there was a pleasant atmosphere and the food was good.
There was no English menu and that was a pity for the level of such restaurant.
