We had a belated family Thanksgiving dinner and Stefano, the Chef, prepared us a Turkey with mashed potatoes, vegetables and the whole thing was delivered to our doorstep together with desserts.
Everything worked out perfectly and it was one of the best Turkey dinners we had. Just done to perfection, crisp on the outside, moist and tender meat, a fantastic jus and his world famous mashed potatoes. Needless to say, dessert was out of this world too.
So, if you think about Turkey for Christmas, this is the place to order.
Thank you Stefano for making it happen and making our thanksgiving special.

The food here was amazing. The servers were very attentive and very polite, refilling our water and bread before we had a chance to know we wanted more. The food arrived quickly and they accommodated to us wanting to share. Very high quality and very delicious! Also gave us a small desert in the end as a “thank you”. Great experience :)

Fine dining, everything was really yummy, friendly staff, cosy atmosphere and ... exquisite cheesecake! 😍 I loved Chef's coming out, greeting the guests, checking on us how everything was... and other little things that made our evening. Warmly recommend it!

I don't understand how this place got a michelin star.I've been questioning the Michelin star lately anyway.I ordered sea bass fillet.My food was burnt and it smelled. I couldn't even eat half of it. The vegetables that came with it were in oil. A friend's starter was already the same as her main dish. And the waiter didn't say that. Just a place with a name. Sorry but I don’t like 👎🏻

Bad service. Unnecessarily rude staff. We wanted to share the dishes as a family and were told “we are not that kind of restaurant” and then later “I will give you a plate. Do it yourself”. Just the whole vibe was very stuck up and I would go far enough to say that I felt racial undertones. Having said that, the food was very good and some other staff members were more helpful and cheerful.

Second time we ordered a Turkey dinner for home delivery, once again a great experience. Likely the best turkey we had, and we have had many! Stefano is a great Chef and his cuisine top. Turkey arrived still hot and juicy and also the (usual) leftovers in the days following Thanks-giving were a dream.
His Torta Saint-Honoré is a dream and travels equally well for a take-away.

Excellent cuisine of very high quality, sophisticated but not pretentious. The chef is a great host. If you want to try the real taste of Italy in Zürich this is the place to go.

Yes the restaurant is fully booked, yes you have to wait a little longer than a fast food restaurant, but the food is great, the service nearly excellent and perfect wine by the glass. I would say it’s hard to find better dining in Zürich.

Good food, bad service. Everything took forever, very inattentive service, not great atmosphere. Food of good quality but some portions tiny (eg truffle raviolo), some huge (eg fegato), quite expensive

Had always loved this restaurant until a recent visit during which a plate of rubbery octopus that has most likely submerged in salty water and hibernated in a metal can shelved in a dark and wet basement for months maybe years was served and over-charged. Even though everything else made up for that horrible initial experience, I left disappointed and nauseous.

At the Adademia del Gusto you enjoy the classic Italian cuisine at a high level. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service attentive and competent, the tables are laid out in white. In addition to the dishes on the menu, there are daily specials. The meat is grilled on the open fire and the fish selection is also very appealing. So the agony of choice remains - with the meals just as with the wine. By the way, the majority of the wines are offered in Magnum format.

Accademia del Gusto is, to me, the best Italian Restaurant in all of Zurich in its class. By this I mean: if it’s pizza you are after, then this is not the right choice for you. Accademia del Gusto distinguishes itself through very high-class Italian dishes, focusing on the quality of seasonal ingredients and offering a beautiful selection of meat, fish and vegetarian courses. Every single meal I have enjoyed there over the past four years has been one to remember – and I mean this in the most positive of ways. All dishes are prepared to perfection by some of the most skilled chefs in town. Additionally, the service is nothing short of impeccable and the atmosphere very elegant and at the same time both comfortable as well as warm. The hospitality of owner and chef Stefano Piscopo and his lovely wife Mariana remains delightful and welcoming without fail. It comes as no surprise that Accademia del Gusto has been awarded numerous prizes from different gourmet experts – every single one of them absolutely deserved.
