Our last night in Zurich so wanted to treat ourselves to something special. Am so glad we picked Bianchi- we were looked after by Alessandro throughout the evening and he was truly superb. Reds were the order of the day and the Primitivo proved to be a good choice for us, smooth, silky and not too heavy. We were grateful for the complimentary white bait cooked to perfection. Our entree of lobster cream soup with generous portions of lobster proved to be a great starter and the brown trout that followed was so fresh, almost as if just caught. We skipped the coffee instead opting for the cassata which rounded off a great evening meal. From Mr Alexander who welcomed us in, to Alessandro (again!)- will certainly be an evening to remember. If looking for somewhere classy with impeccable service and the freshest seafood, you shouldn’t miss the opportunity to dine here. Thanks again. Arrivedeci till next time :)

We are delighted you spent your last night in Zurich at Bianchi, and that you had such an exceptional experience. Your choice of the house special, the Trota di Fiume (brown trout in butter and herbs) was excellent, as were the other choices.
We are, of course, known in the city as being one of the best Italian-style fish restaurants in town. Our team — and especially Alessandro — were very happy to read your positive comments about the service. It always makes a difference when our efforts are appreciated.

As italian foodies living abroad for the past 14 years we are extremely picky and most importantly enjoying gourmet cooking at home we don't usually seek italian Restaurants outside italy.
Bianchi in Zurich is maybe the only exception to our family rule. We ended up there upon our relocation to Zurich 3 years ago not because of the Italian factor, but because it's branded as a Fish restaurant in a beautiful location. What a surprise!!!! We have become regulars, also with our 2 kids.
The care for the ingredients, preparation and presentation is evident. What really set the restaurant above the other nice restaurants in Zurich is the service. Maitre Paulo Alexandre is an incredible human, speaks perfectly a dozen languages, and really makes you feel home with his Team.
Glad that they finally reopened after the second shut down. We will be celebrating our first meal out with them today.

We tried to book at table via the webpage, but there were no tables available. As a last resort I called the restaurant and somehow they managed to find us a table. We received a warm welcome and were met with friendly staff from our arrival. So much good to choose from on the menu! We decided on creamy lobster soup as a starter and sea bass with mustard sauce for main course. This was accompanied with a full bodied white village Burgundy. The food was uncomplicated and so very delicious. But best of all was the service - the attentiveness of the staff made us feel special. The meal was rounded of with tiramisù and espresso worthy an Italian restaurant. Loved it! Bianchi is setting the standard.

Dont get me wrong, the restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, not something unique or extraordinary, BUT putting 70g of lobster to a big portion of spaghetti lobster for 60 eur is just nonsense. Our bill was about 250 eur (including 4 wine glasses) and we were still hungry.. we also ordered a plate of sea food (78ch) and it was roughly 100-150g of sea food (edible). 100% not worth the money of you dont care to pay 500-800 eur for the dinner for two people to get full.

Great Italian restaurant in Zurich. The staff, including the host behaved very professionally, so the service was correct and excellent. The portions are just right, the ambiance is good, not loud, and the tables are not crowded together around each other, giving some privacy to the guests. The dishes are tasty with the just right amount of condiments. The prices are high, as for two people eating each: soup, main dish and dessert with the tip cost CHF 200.00 or CAD 300.00! It is so wonderful to go to a restaurant of such caliber! Well recommended, so enjoy it and spend your money!

This was my first visit to a restaurant since the authorities in Switzerland have allowed restaurants to open.
I was really looking forward to be able to go out for a meal again and I have to say the team from Bianchi did not let us down.
From the friendly greeting, food & wine recommendation until we left, we were looked after as GUESTS.
This is what the hospitality business is about.

We've been to Bianchi on our last evening in Zurich. Everything - EVERY THING was just perfect. The selection on the menu is wide with a lot of options to choose from, and our server Xavier was extremely professional and patient, trying to understand what we would like, and helping us to make the right choice.
The food is of the highest level possible and exceptionally delicious. Tiramisù with dark chocolate coating - to die for!
Many thanks to Xavier (I hope I spell his name correctly) and to all members of the professional and welcoming waitstaff. I don't know how I missed Bianchi during my previous times in Zurich, for future visits, it's going to be a MUST

Had a lovely dinner here. The lobster cream soup was delicious. So was their special lobster salad. We also enjoyed their roasted sea bass fillet.
Their tiramisu was amazing too.
Their service staff was attentive and offer good advice on dish choices.

Since we came across the Colors festival, all the restaurants were full. When we saw a couple getting up, we went directly to Bianchi, asked the waiter, and when they said it was available, we were very happy and sat down. We ordered cold starter, lobster cream soup, king shrimp, fillet sea fish, calamari pasta, all were delicious. Our Italian waiter was very energetic and sympathetic. Thank you

Elegant and delicious meal. Everything was prepared to perfection. We started w a glass of champagne and the avocado/lobster salad. The lobster was exquisite. For dinner, we opted for the whole fish with boiled potatoes. We added the grilled vegetable. Thomas-our server knew how to pair the food with the best Italian wine. For desert, we opted for the tiramisu. It was a surprise that the tiramisu was encased in chocolate-what a delight. We can’t thank enough Thomas-he was excellent, extremely professional, and took the time to explain the dishes or any questions we had. All servers would check on us often to ensure we had our water or if we needed anything. It was an elegant and delicious last meal in Zurich.

My wife and I went with friends who live in Zurich. The food and service were impeccable. The fish appetizers and main dishes were simply superb. This restaurant is easy to walk to from most of the downtown area and is located on the river. Unfortunately, it was raining so were unable to sit out side. We highly recommend Bianchi!

We were a party of four and in for a light meal, so we did not order any appetizers. Each of our dishes was excellent. We ordered the tuna, scallops and ravioli; they were all delicious. Giovanni was our server, and he was excellent. He attended to all of our needs. The location was a short 2-minute walk from our hotel in the Old Town, and the interior was very nice, comfortable and not loud. We highly recommend this restaurant to others.

A quaint restaurant looking out on Limmatquai towards part of the old town. It certainly seemed to be a local destination. We happened to walk into the restaurant a little earlier than our reservation time but luckily we were very kindly seated by the Maitre D’. We shared and enjoyed the tuna and crab appetizer along with the seafood risotto and canaloni pasta with spinach. A lovely experience!

We had lunch at this magnificent spot yesterday. Staff were exceptional, professional and so friendly! We had not made a booking but they managed to get us a table. The food was sensational and I will probably never forget the fish we had. Absolute must visit this restaurant when in Zurich !! Be sure to book they are so busy and you will understand why !! High prices, average quality of food and slightly arrogant service.
Despite reservation and not full restaurant, we could not select the table and were banished to the far corner of the restaurant, to the buffet. The allocator to the table was very arrogant. She pointed out to us that all other tables are already reserved, which did not correspond to the fact and we also reserved. Since we didn’t order an aperitif recommended to us, we didn’t receive grissini like all other visitors as a “punishment”, although we ordered a whole bottle of wine afterwards. Hospitality is not what I imagine.
The food was ok but not worth the high prices.
Too bad, unfortunately not a pleasant experience overall.
We have been guests before, but unfortunately we will never come back.
