I needed upon very short notice a quiet table in a good, but not luxurious restaurant and I got it without a problem.
We both enjoyed their paellas, which can be ordered exactly to personal taste.
Although we liked the soup and paellas very much, I asked them to bag half of my lunch, as it was just too much to eat. (I had eaten a late breakfast already, but I am a healthy eater and rarely do not finish my plate :-) )
We stayed long, but the attentive and friendly service did not mind.

Although the restaurant was quite full, we were served very quickly and competently by Vanessa. She recommended the paella "BOLERO especial" to us, which is quite expensive for one person, but really worth it. It was super delicious! We would love to come back.

My mother and I had a wonderful dinner at the Bolero before attending a performance at the KKL. The service staff (especially Elisabete) were very friendly, accommodating and made sure that the food came in such a way that we made it to the performance on time. The food was very good! We were on the occasion of 30. My husband's birthday dinner at the Bolero. We were super friendly and looked after excellently throughout the evening. The paella tasted great. In the end there was even a surprise for my husband and the restaurant brought him a bedside table with sparkler fountains and sang for him. Thank you again! Have really rarely experienced such a lovely service! The restaurant is also very dog friendly and brought water directly for our animal companion :). If you want a special evening and like to eat really good Spanish, we highly recommend the Bolero!

Is it possible the best tapas anywhere are to be found in Switzerland rather than Spain? After dining at Bolero I could easily be convinced. We were cordially welcomed on a busy Friday night without a reservation and put ourselves in their hands for a two-course sampler of both cold and hot tapas. Every item was outstanding in both flavor and presentation. Khanh was an excellent server. The atmosphere, while busy, is very pleasant due to the absence of canned music. Our business lunch at Bolero was a complete success! The atmosphere in the restaurant was modern yet cosy – perfect for a relaxed but professional meeting. The service was exceptionally attentive without seeming intrusive.
The food was absolutely fantastic – from the appetizer to the dessert, every dish convinced with freshness, taste and creativity.
The whole team helped to ensure that our evening went smoothly and our guests were delighted. I can highly recommend this restaurant for business occasions as well as private visits. We will definitely be back!

Saw reviews about paella for one and I was sold.
Would agree with everyone about the staff being great as I found the same thing although the staff briefing probably best done before opening rather after guests have arrived?
The highlight of the whole meal for me was the tomato “soup” served as an amuse bouche - it was outstanding and such flavour!
I had the clam croquette, which was disappointingly dry and had little flavour of clam, and the aforesaid paella. With the latter, I felt that the mussels were over cooked and tiny but neither the waitress nor the manager signified any sort of agreement. If I was wrong, I apologise but you should definitely change your supplier!! I was offered a feee expresso.
The paella itself was enjoyable but not the best but then Luzern is not Valencia!
The Solaris wine was excellent and will be looking to try many more Swiss wines now…

We ate both dinner and buffet breakfast at this restaurant that is attached to the Cascada Hotel. This authentic Spanish Restaurant was delicious. We had their Paella with beef and vegetables. It was absolutely amazing! The breakfast buffet had fresh fruit, pastries, cereals, sausages, fresh made yogurt, and many more options with omelets and bacon made to order. Nice variety of food and very delicious!

We had a wonderful and authentic tapas evening with lots of fun. From the aperitif to the dinner everything was super thought out. The ingredients were all top prepared and in the preparation you are always supported if necessary. So this cooking class is for everyone, Beginner or Pro.
You can tell that the employees are happy to be there. The staff is very warm and attentive and the ambience in the restaurant is just beautiful.

We celebrated my birthday at Bolero. It was perfect! The (pre-reserved) table was discreetly decorated especially for our celebration. The drinks and the food (paella) were excellent, the staff extremely accommodating and friendly. The staff present even congratulated me personally on my birthday and for dessert there was also a small chocolate cake with sparklers. The best part of the experience was the wait staff who was the best kind of friendly, accommodating and concerned over us having a delightful dinner experience. Elisabete made it seem that any request genuinely was her pleasure to fulfill so the dinner experience was a true treat to us.. The delicious paella and tapas were the icing on top.

We dined at the Bolero Restaurant during our stay at the Adjoining Pension, with a 20% offer on dinner.
The setting is warm and pleasant. However, as a Frenchman, we found it a bit complicated to interact with the staff.

Our visit to Bolero was perfect: right in the middle of Lucerne and still a quiet and cozy place outside! We actually only wanted to have one of the delicious non-alcoholic drinks. We were well looked after by the attentive and friendly trainee Vanessa. She even packed up the leftovers for us at the end. Elisabete was our server for the evening and she was fantastic! Attentive, warm, and friendly, she gave her favorite picks for dishes when we couldn't decide. We ended up ordering the octopus (as an individual tapas dish per Elisabete's guidance) and two paellas - one marisco & one valenciana. All were delicious with the valenciana and octopus being more flavorful. Overall a great & positive time and would definitely recommend everyone try out this restaurant!
A plus - we had mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary and our table was pre-decorated when we had arrived :)
