The food was incredible and the atmosphere also. We really liked the combination of Latin music, dishes, and service. The Pisco sour is very good and we highly recommend also the Intipalka wine from Perú, very particular taste. The manager, Marco, is very close to customers and always ready to help them and give them more explanation about dishes and drinks. We highly recommend this place, for food and for atmosphere.

t’s so rare when a restaurant surpasses expectations and delivers an unexpected connection that you just cannot escape from! It was my first experience with a Peruvian restaurant and my choice of cuisine has been changed indefinitely……
From the first moment you enter the decadent ambience you automatically feel like you have been invited into someone’s home. The tables are romantically spaced to create an intimate yet inviting ambience, so much so I thought for a moment it was just the two of us in the restaurant.
Most importantly I will get to the food, although almost an after thought with the attentive and distracting staff that keep you engaged and aroused with the friendly banter I can only associate with meeting good friends or family!
The food was an adventure. My girlfriend spent many years in South America and for her this was like being transported back to Peru like a wish granted for one more evening in paradise!
The Ceviche was served traditional with Causa shared for additional flavour and support. I cannot describe adequately the abundance of mixology, almost like a cocktail, everything worked…. I assumed it was impossible to follow such starters but I was happily disappointed with an incredible lomo saltado which challenged my previous foodie favourites and set a new standard of excellence!
The dessert was quite simply forced upon us as a favourite by our waiter Marco. I don’t think I could ever compliment the fusion of chocolate and ice cream…. Or at least do justice in describing the final experience closing out the meal!
In closing, thank you Marco for such a wonderful experience and eye watering menu! We will of course be back, but not before I take a few days to truly allow this experience to be absorbed. In closing, one of the best restaurants I have ever been to, and I’m sure it will be voted one of the best in Switzerland before long.
Thank you for hosting us…. we will see you again soon enough!!!

The absolute best restaurant experience I had during my week long trip in Switzerland. Marco is an amazing host who provided me fresh homemade bread and fresh made chichamorada without me even asking. Having been to Peru, I can say for a fact that the atmosphere, the music, the decor and food here is 100% authentic. The staff speaks to you like family, and Emilio the kitchen chef prepared the best Lomo Saltado I’ve had. Marco also spoke to me like an old friend and convinced me to take the train to Lugano and Milan on my last day here and helped me look at the train information. I recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially solo travelers like myself who want to experience delicious food and good company.

We came as a family of four with two small kids and finding a place that has great food and is good with kids is not easy Pikante excelled. Food was amazing, the hospitality was one of the best I experienced in Switzerland. The chef came out to the table explaining they buy all the produce from Peru and import it fresh. It’s the first time I have tried Peruvian wine which was also great.
Marco the restaurant manager looked after us so we’ll along with the rest of his team.
Probably the best Peruvian I tried so far, if you are in Lucerne don’t miss going!

Picante is a cosy restaurant with delicious food and super friendly staff. They serve traditional and fusion Peruvian food. The cocktails are also great! Marco and his colleagues are passionate about this place and you can feel it in the way they treat their customers and in the food. Definitely one of the best experiences I have had in Lucerne!

Marco and Emilio were amazing. We would highly recommend. Best meal we have ever had as a family. We had the beef, chicken, and cod and all 3 were equally delicious. The sushi as appetizer was wonderful. They were helpful with suggestions from the menu and made us feel like family

Pikante has exceded my expectaciones. Starting with the friendly warm welcome staff. The entire team is extremely friendly and helpful with anything that the costumer ask. Amazing Cocktails; pisco Sauer and may others. The food provides a stunning combinations of colors and unforgettable taste from the Caribbean to the Atlantic, including the Pacific Ocean. I genuinely recommend Pikante to all person that love the Peruvian cuisine and want to experience a Precious Peruvian culinary Cuisine experience.

We hadn’t heard much about Pikante, so when we went we were very happily surprised! The food was amazing, the decoration beautiful, the atmosphere warm and welcoming and the team super friendly and helpful. The lomo Saltado was really the best beef I’ve ever had and the great food and drinks recommendations from Marco, our host, perfected the meal and made the evening feel really special. Before we left my husband and I were already discussing what to order on our next visit! Do visit if you have the chance, it was great food in a lovely restaurant.

10/10 one of best restaurants in Luzern!
Lovely drinks people food etc.
Great pisco, creative cocktails, lomo saltado very authentic and perfectly cooked meat. Omg the papas + cream sauce was to die for. Definitely returning.

I came here for lunch with my girlfriend and I was positively impressed by everything starting from the taste of the food and ending with the great service. We tried 3 different types of sushi and all of them tasted amazing and were very delicious. Thanks to the team Marco and chef Emilio for the wonderful experience. For sure will come back soon.

Absolutely wonderful place!
The dishes were amazing , I especially liked beef with risotto. I don’t even like risotto that much but the way they cooked risotto made it so yummy. And the beef was cooked just right.
All the seafood was very fresh.
Our waitress Natalie made great suggestions for ceviche and each dish was very tasty.
Being from California we have been to a few Peruvian restaurants back home, but this one takes Peruvian cuisine to a totally different level! I strongly recommend visiting this restaurant, you will not be disappointed !

My wife and I have been on a Swiss vacation for more than ten days now. Whichever city we go to, we look for extraordinary flavors. We encountered several beautiful restaurants with mouth-watering food during our trip. But our search for the greatest meal of the vacation has probably ended today. We discovered Pikante Peruvian Cuisine & Pisco Lounge and trust me, words will fail us in describing the experience we had.
Soon after we placed our order, one complimentary piece of sushi was given to us. And that sushi gave us an indication that we were in for a culinary ride. Our servers Natali and Marco opened their hearts out with recommendations and none of it failed to impress.
We started our meal with Ceviche de Dorada y Pulpo with Aji Amarillo which was Dorada fish, octopus cold marinated with “Leche de Tigre”, and yellow chili sauce served with avocado. Trust me when I say it, it melted in my mouth. It had a citrus punch and the seafood was cured to perfection.
The second starter that we had was a type of Peruvian tart. Trio de causas frio was flavourful and we started craving for more.
In the main course, I had Risotto with Lomo Saltado which was risotto along with beef fillet cubes. After one point, I started wondering about the restaurant and how it was exceeding my expectations at each stage.
My wife had Pescado en Salsa Macho which was a Steamed cod fillet with light seafood “savory sauce” served with coconut rice. The two of us realized that we were eating the food in silence for a long time. If that is not a sign of a great restaurant then what is.
Lastly, we ended our meal with a dessert called Sorpresa de Lúcuma. At this point, we were not hungry anymore, we were just indulging (and it was worth it.)
Marco spoke to us about his experience in taking care of the place and Natalie gave us her personal recommendation about the food. It is a pity that it is our last night in Lucerne, we would have definitely visited again.

Pikante brings an exquisite & authentic Peruvian culinary experience straight to your plate. The team was so welcoming and friendly, taking the time to explain their menu and recommending their traditional dishes. Everthting was beautifully presented and the flavors were incredible - even the aji sauce was perfectly spicy, as it should be! We will definitely go back again to try the rest of the menu. 10 of 10.

We tried this restaurant yesterday evening by coincidence and we never have been so thankful for this.
The staff is kind, fully prepared and sincerely careful on customers needs.
Soft light, spices scent and a warm atmosphere driving you on the engaging dishes selection.
Everything it’s carefully presented and eye-catching for the sight and the flavour.
Finally, a mention of honour for the duck breast on sweet potatoes purea and spicy pumpkins.
Essentially, i sincerlly recommende to try this special place, you’ll never regret it.

Since the moment we walked into the restaurant we felt welcomed. The food and cocktails (pisco sours, etc.) were authentic and delicious. It’s a family owned business and it showed. We were greeted and served by the owners daughter and spoke with one of owners several times throughout the evening. Highly recommend this restaurant and hotel.
