Sardoa Divino has a homemade terrace, made from wooden crates and cushions made from burlap. The menu offers tapas adapting the Spanish tradition to Italian style. This is how you can drink a Spritz as well as a Kalimotxo or Sangria. You can also eat pintxos - or Basque variation of tapas - with Iberian prosciutto, tortilla di patata, pan tumaca, boquerones (anchovies), chorizo,... During this aperitif, I found the taste memories of my time in Spain. As such, the very friendly waitress spoke Spanish and a little French, we had a good chat. My wife ordered a Spritz and I ordered a white wine sangria. Both glasses were well measured. The sangria was fresh and not covered in ice cubes. An appetizer board in the form of a slate was offered to us: toasts with pâté, anchovy and sausage. We ordered pan tumaca. This is slightly dry bread on which fresh tomato pulp is spread. The crushed tomato was neither garlicky nor peppery nor salty, leaving me to appreciate the good taste of the tomato with my six slices of bread which were not the size of toast. My wife chose a pan prosciutto which she really liked. We paid 20 euros for everything, which is not expensive because the tapas are quite delicious. The bill was brought to us in a can of sardines. I like this use of raw products like slates to serve appetizers, there is a feeling of authenticity that emerges. I recommend this address located right at the foot of the cathedral. Be careful, there aren't really many places, you have to fall or wait.

We went to this place for a pre-dinner aperitif, both the red and the white Sangrìa were spectacular. The typical Spanish croutons they serve are of various flavors and really very good. We took advice from the waitress (all very kind) If you pass through Alghero like us, this stop is a MUST.

This little Iberian place for aperitifs already inspired us from the outside. The drinks are good, but the nice thing is the wide choice of tapas which are made with original ingredients: we took the one of the day with mini eels, strange but good! Perhaps the only flaw is the slightly high price

Very disappointing ! I had asked for a mixed plate of ham, the waiter not having understood what I wanted brought me a plate with 8 different toasts cut in 2. I kindly explained to him that this was not what I had asked for. told me that he could no longer change the dish or that it was already prepared toast which was ready in the window and which seemed to have been there for a while already. I say okay tempi (I wouldn't eat them anyway) my husband, bothered by "politeness", tastes 3 half toasts (which makes a total of 1 toast and a half out of the 8) which is inedible and decides to eat more. The waiter sees that we have eaten almost nothing and still offers to change the dish with a plate of mixed ham. And come back later to tell us that we should still pay for what we ate toast (1 and a half toasts) which is normal so yes of course we will pay. I receive the plate with 1 type of ham (I had asked for a mixed one though, and my husband being Sardinian speaks the language very well) no problem I don't say anything I eat the ham with my husband we finish our drink. I go to the cash register to pay. The woman, not being very friendly in the first place, gives me the bill €60 for 1 glass of wine, 1 soft serve, a plate of ham and 1 and a half toasts? This was supposed to be an aperitif, we still had to go eat. For this price I eat 4 dishes at the restaurant in Alghero. Being surprised I asked why she told the whole first plate, she replied that I had eaten toast. I didn't argue, I paid the bill and left. No commercial gesture but it's them who didn't understand us. Telling us that we will pay for what we eat for after we pay the entire plate or that after we took a plate of ham for €30 is really unacceptable!

They got it all wrong... how the hell did they get such a high rating? These rating must have been given by customers who have never been to a real tapas bar! 40 euros for 6 pintxos, 2 beers and a bottle of water? Really? Ok, so the pintxos are not bad but they are certainly not worth the money they ask. But the price and quality wouldn`t have bothered me if the staff was interested in their customers. I mean, i`ve had worse tapas but the staff was great and polite and for me it`s the whole package when you enter such place. But this? no no, they get it all wrong.... Can you imagine entering a tapas bar and order a pintxos with iberico ham which was the first item on the menu and quite abvious because it`s all about the iberico ham but they did not want to make you a pitxhos because the girl behind the counter says they are out of ham and the guy who was preparing all the tapas at the same time was slicing the same iberico ham to make mixed plates with ham and cheese, what do you mean by "we are out of ham"?? You cook is slicing it next to you and i can see it with my own eyes, Besides that, the ham is litterally hanging above your head I accidentally knocked over a glass of water on the table, a waitress walked by and pretended not to see anything so the table remained wet. You will have to rely on the ignorant people who don`t what a real good tapas bar is like, good luck with that!

The place is quite small, but very welcoming with prompt, helpful, kind and friendly staff. The selection of tapas and cold cuts with quality products and recommended wines and sangrias that go well with what you choose to order is interesting. In our stay we married this choice twice. It is excellent both for an aperitif and for dinner while enjoying many different things.

During our week in Alghero we stayed twice in this really nice place located in Piazza Duomo. We went outdoors, tasted white and red sangria and tried different types of pintxos as well as potato tortillas. The ones with octopus, anchovies and tuna are excellent, as well as those with cured meats. Excellent solution for being outdoors and enjoying Basque/Sardinian goodness. Very kind staff in serving and advising us in the choice. advised!

As in the bistros of Barcelona, a vast series of typical Tapas (among others octopus, pata negra, anchovies, herring, etc.) all good and tasty, accompanied by fresh bubbles from Espana. Small place, with few seats even outside, a little uncomfortable and shaky. Cheerful and kind staff. A good place to start, but also spend the evening. Immediately behind the ramparts.

Lots of great wines, 50 different tapas to choose from, Spanish ham on the ceiling. The food, wine and cocktails were so amazing that we couldn't stop feasting. The place could also be called Basque heaven.

Outstanding food and wine! As we were a group of 7 we asked for ‘a bit of everything’ and the selections that arrived were delicious. Lovely people and a very nice atmosphere. It is a small place so you might want to book in advance during high season.

This place is special. Owners Igor (from the Basque region of Spain) and Elena (a native Sardinian) have created a unique niche establishment—a vast assortment of tapas, wines and beer in an atmospheric establishment without comparison. All at extremely reasonable prices. It is one of our „go to“ places in Alghero for a light dinner or pre-dinner aperitivo.

We went with our children aged 14 and 10. We made an aperitif with cold meats and cheese. The music, the managers, the decor, the atmosphere, everything is great! Yes, we are delighted with this moment and we highly recommend it! Thank you thank you for this extra moment!

What a gem of a bar with very welcoming owners. We visited a few times just for drinks initially. The Txakoli wine I had was lovely, as was the red wine my husband was drinking. We tried a few Pintxos and the cheese and jams were delicious. I highly recommend a visit here, you won't be disappointed. Lovely to chat with the owners good friend Angel who was visiting too.

Two adults stopping for an apero. Situated outside the church on a cobbled street taking you to the walls. Able to sit outside on creative boxes or inside at tables. Menu is online as well as on a laminated card. Staff are multi-lingual. Pleasant welcome with drinks brought quickly, they even gave us a small plate of food for free. The cocktails we had were large and delicious, only 10euro for two drinks. When l went inside to pay, the counter was full of tapas food, which looked incredible. Yes it is on a main walkway and you could call it touristy, but the prices weren't, the food wasn't and the service was good. If you are passing, stop and enjoy.
