Best food we had in Venice. It is tiny so booking is essential but the food, wine and service were impeccable. Reasonably priced for the high quality of the food. Wished we'd had chance to eat there a second time and will definitely go back on our next visit.

We arrived as the restaurant opened for lunch. We didn't have a reservation so we were very lucky to get a table as they very quickly filled up. The food, wine, service and atmosphere were superb. For us it was a very, very enjoyable experience with a great host. Highly recommended as is a reservation.

Recommended to us by our apartment owner and we were not disappointed. We booked ahead as advised, and had a wonderful evening meal. Service was excellent, wine and food delicious, along with the complimentary limoncello. A small menu choice, which I always think is a good thing, but both our meals were delicious. Wonderful

The rental agent suggested we try Enoteca Ai Artisti and we are glad she did. It was the best meal we had in the three weeks we were in Italy. The place is cozy and you need reservations. There appear to be two settings one at 7:00 and one at 9:30. The food is Venetian but served in an upscale... More

It's all been said before but worth saying again that this is the best restaurant I went to in Venice during a 5 day trip and I would go back again like a shot . Great food at a good price

I read about this place on the internet and thought we've give it a go. Passed by just when they were cleaning and just got a table for lunch. Food was fresh and tasty. The service was fantastic. They gave each customer attention. Wine was excellent. I've recommended this place to all of my friends. Don't miss it!

I have visited this small osteria-enoteca twice and each time I have found the food was of a good quality, very tasty and nicely presented. The wine was also good and the staff are helpful. Prices as typical for Venice. If you sit at the counter facing the fondamenta or the table by the window, you can watch the world... More

Three of us dined here on a Saturday night in Venice. The tiny restaurant was packed so be sure to make a reservation. The menu is small, serving only what's local and fresh that day. The scallops and octopus appetizers were delicious. They had a nice wine list and we all had pastas for our main course. I was on... More

Staying in Dorsoduro / Accademia

Neighborhood Profile
Dorsoduro / Accademia
Artsy is the defining mood of this neighborhood with street artists, students, painters, sculptors, restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica buttresses the neighborhood to the east. Gondolas bob in the morning light. The Accademia Bridge crosses the Grand Canal. A back street doubles as basketball court. Palaces house residents, or like Ca' Foscari a university, or a museum like Ca’ Rezzonico that attracts Venetians for concerts. Dorsoduro reveals its industrial roots too, in buildings converted to house university departments or exhibitions. Campo Santa Margherita bursts with youthful energy from local students. Foot traffic bustles to and from Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia train station. Evening commuters pause for an aperitivo. Neighbors exchange confidants in a campo (square) on their way to market.
