A bit too expensive for what you get. Decent meal, which wasn't all that tasteful. Sliced beef was good, but sides were not so tasty.

With Venice being filled with tourist traps, this restaurant was a breath of fresh air. A great restaurant offering wonderful food with great service. Their ricotta ravioli was a winner as was the seasonal pasta special with pumpkin cream and broccoli. A must in Venice.

We had the best lunch in Venice, want to come back!! The food was both beautifully presented and amazingly good. plus, very nice staff. It seemed that it was filled with local people rather than tourists!!!

Good plates presentation. Good attention. Great food quality. Recommended by locals. Wi fi free and fast. It would be great a kids menu to be a family friendly resto.

Top class, modern dishes had people at nearby tables craning necks and asking what we'd ordered. Fresh flavours, impressive presentation reasonable cost.

We landed here as needing a late lunch near the Accademia that was gluten free (I am a coeliac) and struck lucky but it is only now some 4 weeks later that I realised I had forgotten to leave a review so cannot recall all the details of what we ate but I do recall that it was clean, service... The food was very well presented and delicious. The portion is generous, and the price is considered to be cheap given the quality of the food. Would highly recommend!

This is not the atmosphere that I think of when I think of Italy but it got great reviews and was close to our friend's hotel. The food, wine, and service was wonderful. The presentation of the food and wine was great as well. They served our water in these beautiful glasses that you can purchase from the restaurant. The... More

Staying in Dorsoduro / Accademia

Neighborhood Profile
Dorsoduro / Accademia
Artsy is the defining mood of this neighborhood with street artists, students, painters, sculptors, restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica buttresses the neighborhood to the east. Gondolas bob in the morning light. The Accademia Bridge crosses the Grand Canal. A back street doubles as basketball court. Palaces house residents, or like Ca' Foscari a university, or a museum like Ca’ Rezzonico that attracts Venetians for concerts. Dorsoduro reveals its industrial roots too, in buildings converted to house university departments or exhibitions. Campo Santa Margherita bursts with youthful energy from local students. Foot traffic bustles to and from Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia train station. Evening commuters pause for an aperitivo. Neighbors exchange confidants in a campo (square) on their way to market.
