Very happy with this restaurant. I am Italian American and used to homemade pasta. The Gnocchi was amazing and light as a feather. I highly recommend the veal with porcini. Veal was thin, tender and no rubbery mushrooms. Carbonara just okay. Desserts good. Complimentary glass...More

We found this restaurant by accident and we are glad we ate there. Service is outstanding. We arrived and the owner served a mimosa while waiting. After dinner they served some house complimentary cookies and liquor. We did not expect it. Food was delicious and...More

We were a party of four and had this recommended to us by our hotel. We weren't too impressed with the first one they sent us to, but we decided to give them a chance to redeem themselves. And they did. We found the service...More

Nice atmosphere of this place. Very nice staff. Good wine selection and excellent food. A bit too much food almost, or if you will very generous portions. The house red was really good. The one bad thing is that this restaurant just like all restaurants...More

Had a great meal here in October 2017, very friendly staff. Good wine list and lots of vegetarian options and some great fish. Dessert trolley is a must so leave some space! This was recommended by an Italian I know who lived in Venice for...More

The waiters were the best part of the meal- service was excellent however the food was boring. Although the seafood pasta was excellent - the veal Marsala was tough and syrupy and the grilled vegetables were devoid of flavor! For the money find a better...More

We had a really awesome time here. They had excellent food for non-gf as my wife loved her lasagna, and I had gluten free ravioli that was the best I have ever had. The house wine was also quite good.

This historic restaurant, slightly off the beaten path, is a favorite place of ours when we visit Venice. We ate here two nights during our recent stay and both times we were delighted by the phenomenal food and wine. There are some tables outside, but...More

The food and service here were excellent. The food is mostly fish and seafood. We were greeted with complimentary Bellini. There was a very good menu selection and the wine list is extensive. Two courses with a very good bottle of wine and coffee came...More

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby

Sorry. We had no driver. We were staying at the Foscari Palace Hotel on the Grand Canal, near the Ca D'Oro stop there in Cannaregio, and this restaurant is in walking distance. What we usually do when we fly in is take the... More
