My wife and I were absolutely delighted with our experience at Ristorante Corallo today. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and extremely efficient throughout the meal. The menu gave plenty of choice and we received expert advice on some of the dishes. The food was well presented, extremely tasty, and very good value for money. We could not fault any aspect of our experience, and will certainly pay another visit if we visit Aquileia again. Thank you very much.

What a gem of a find…..

Cycling from Venice to Porec with some friend’s. After a long day on our bikes we happened upon this gem of a restaurant, the welcome was both friendly and inviting. The menu was delightful and the staff encouraged us in the direction of the local wines which were superb. Everyone’s meal was cooked to perfection and from a personal point of view I enjoyed the best monkfish I’ve ever eaten. What a glorious end to a day’s cycle. Well worth a visit…….

When in Aquilea…..

Quite uninspiring from outside but once in the courtyard surrounded by grape vines, the ambience is terrific. And it’s matched by the food and service! We shared melone with prosciutto, and had mains of coda di rombo (monkfish) and spaghetti with seafood. A nice half litre of local white house wine to wash it all down. Oh, and the pistachio cheesecake (shared of course). If you’ve been in Aquilea visiting the Basilica and the Roman ruins, set aside a good hour for lunch here.

A beautiful setting in the ancient Roman town of Aqualeia. We sat in their shady garden under the vines. Primarily a seafood restaurant, they also have many other options. I had the best lasagna, slow cooked, creamy and tender. My husband had monkfish tail, cooked to perfection. A crisp wine from the local hills of Friuli complimented both. Service here was friendly and efficient. It was a relaxing, peaceful venue a short drive across the lagoon from bustling Grado but a world away from its overpriced over busy tourist restaurants. A gem - don’t miss it!

Wonderful experience with dishes of the highest quality in an elegant, pleasant and with the staff really friendly and prepared. The fried food was fragrant, fresh and crisp and the spaghetti with seafood very tasty. Do not miss the desserts either. Top!

Restaurant of wide choice of menus, spacious parking and easy to reach. Location well cared for both outside and inside, nice place and pleasant to the eye. Wide menu and suitable for every palate; very welcome cold fish appetizer and pasta with seafood. Perfect service, very kind a young girl who served us, always with a smile and attentive to every detail. Value for money apt. Highly recommended place also for waiting, short and right between courses.

We stopped for lunch at the insistence of my wife’s aunt & uncle who are somewhat local and I am so glad we did! The seafood is amazing, the proprietor and his staff are friendly & accommodating, and the interior is impeccably clean while comfortable. Do not hesitate to enjoy this fantastic local restaurant!

Amazing home cooked Italian food!

Don’t put too much weight on the rather humble exterior. This place holds fantastic food. If you get the chance to order the off-menu “lasagne with fish”, go for it. We had to order two rounds just because it was the best we have eaten so far in Italia.

My wife and I celebrated our 32nd anniversary in Aquileia. We needed a late lunch and met the wonderful staff at Corallo. It a short walk or drive from center town. Seafood is fresh and well-prepared. I don’t eat lasagna when I go out but didn’t want seafood. Light selection with frutta da mare. Lasagna was made fresh that day by their chef. Excellent. We will return for the town and the ristorante.
