Work stop and fast. Savoury menu with sandwiches and stuffed toast made with homemade bread. The cooked toast and Friuli cheese was great, the best eaten in a pastry bar. This cafe is very conveniently located near to the Basilica complex and has lots of indoor and outside seating. We took a rest from viewing the fantastic ruins and ordered coffees and a cake. Place was not busy, given the time of year, but service seemed to take an age. Coffee and the cake were OK when they finally arrived.

The location of the pasticceria could not be better. Just in front of the magnificent basilica. The place is very very nice. The furniture and the decoration are lovely. Oh the pastries! Sooo delicious! I haven’t tried in a long time such heavenly sweets. They offer delicious little sweets, cakes, ice cream, sandwiches, very good coffee. There is something for everyone. The young waitresses were very nice. We spent a lovely time. After visit such an amazing place, a rest an a delicious treat could not have been better. For sure we will be back!

This place is right in front of the Basilica - which means, it will have customers even without trying, but they didn't stop there - the food here is just so good. The array of desserts at the counter were stunning to look at and if I weren't holding up the queue I would buy a lot more. I bought some profiteroles and they were wonderful. I went with my friends and we sat down and had some great panini. The place also sell freshly baked biscuits for dogs and even their dog biscuits smell wonderful.
