What a pleasant surprise! We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.
We have been there several times, with family and friends and the service was impeccable everytime. It is simply the best restaurant in the area. One of the tasties pizza we have tried - the kids felt so happy. Great authentic italian food, fresh seafood cooked to perfection, accompanied by savoury white wines and flavoury local drinks from the area. They can cook for you anything you wish, even if it is not in the menu, and surprise you every time. Very attentive service, always one step ahead.
The hosts, Mauro and Monica, made sure we feel good at any moment, while keeping us entertained with local stories about the history and traditions of the area. We will most definitely visit again!

We stopped here to have lunch before visiting a little of the Roman ruins and we were treated to a kind and inviting experience. The couple who owns the restaurant were so hospitable and enjoyable to talk with. You could tell that they were also really in love with the food they serve. We ordered a tagliere friulano and gnocchi with deer and the typical stuffed buckwheat pasta with cheese. Both primi were so delicious and made with love. Next time we are in the area we will be back for more!

On a warm Sunday in September, when we took advantage of the "open museums", we opted for a fish restaurant. Finding this, with a fine and elegant location, we just crossed our fingers and hoped to eat well. No sooner said than done! Miraculously right portions, almost abundant and incredibly, the dishes were really good and tasty. We took a fish starter to split in two, a spaghetti with seafood, Grado-style cuttlefish accompanied by grilled polenta, a quarter of white wine and a 0.75 bottle of water, all for around €65. My partner and I, who are fussy gourmets, could only exclaim at the end of lunch "aaaah, how full and how good!"...

I just left the place and the staff was horrible. I went there with my mom and sister, we were in a hurry after a long road and just wanted to have a quick dinner and go to sleep. We ordered a pizza and a lasagna and the blonde waitress started screaming in Italian to another waited that why did they let us in if we don't drink anything. Told her that I don't speak Italian but I understand what she said and it's not ok and we are leaving... she continued screaming silly stuff as we left. Maybe the food is good. Avoid this place!

Fantastic fish-based lunch in Aquileia. After a long journey from Tuscany we stopped in this place, fantastic hospitality, we were recommended a mixed fish starter, then seafood risotto, pasta with clams and a sample of fried food. Everything really excellent. We will definitely be back when we pass through there again.

We had dinner with you a few nights ago. The place was pretty empty. The staff is very helpful and nice often lending themselves to the joke. Good pizzas and credit to the panuozzi that were super. The Owner is very helpful and passes through the tables to chat (he even makes us taste a bitter made by him). We were directed to the restaurant/pizzeria via a running event that was taking place in the town the following day.

A few steps from the center of Aquileia, along the road that leads from Grado to the historic city, is this place that is absolutely worth a stop. The menu offers excellent first courses, including linguine with long heads and calamarata with shrimp, both delicious. We had lunch here on a Friday. There’s seating outside and inside as well. We chose to sit inside. The welcome we received from the pizza maker could not have been nicer. We felt like honored guests. He proudly showed us the award he recently won for his pizza. Service was fast and efficient. We ordered bufala pizzas and they were truly excellent. The house red wine was also delicious. The restaurant feels a little upscale but prices are very normal. We enjoyed our lunch here and are glad we made the short drive south of the museo. There’s parking in front. Highly recommended for authentic Italian pizza at a great price.

We got a Recommendation from the chef for an appetizer (noodles with scampi, citrus and pistachios) and as a main course a freshly caught dorade from the pizza oven with olives, tomatoes and potatoes. It was just a poem!
