The best fish in Bologna. I come here regularly. Frittura and tortelli Di pesce are my usual order. The place is not cheap but the quality (and quantity) of the fish they serve is just very very high. Been there a few times already and...More

We dined here this week - me, hubby, son and best friend - and had three plus courses each. We are from NY and absolute foodies and the quality of fish and creative preparation exceeded our expectations. Wish we had the same in NYC. Owners...More

We came here for a treat and can say that we were looked after impeccably. We opted for the tasting menu with its several small courses, each one exquisite in its preparation and flavours. A tiny carbonara froth tantalised the taste buds and then we...More

This beautiful restaurant is about as close as you'll come to experiencing life as a well-heeled Bolognese. The terrace is elegant and refined, with more than one local celebrity being discretely tended to. We were pretty much the only tourists on the terrance on the...More

Smart restaurant, the seafood is impeccably presented and competently cooked. Ideal for special occasions and for business dinners, it will not disappoint you. I loved the ink risotto, my friends loved the tortellini with razza/acciuga in butter and tartufo cream. The desserts are gorgeous. Expensive.

It's not your average fish restaurant in a matter of prices, but the quality of both the raw seafood and the service as well as cooking/preparation are well worth their cost. The owner is a renowned chef in Bologna and greets every customer table by...More

We had a dinner with some friends at Acqua Pazza: some of us took a good clam risotto, and then two of us had a mediocre 'Sarago' fish cooked in the oven, while an other had good shrimps. Totally: we ordered 3 risottos, 2 fishes...More

If Bologna is the culinary capital of Italy, Acqua Pazza is part of the reason why. Every course was impeccably prepared and overall the chef prepared a deliciously balanced meal. Everything was incredibly fresh and you just didn't want the meal to end. The chef...More
