It was not our first time.
We had been there one more time, in the evening.
We stopped by the morning before visiting Piazza Navona and the Parione district.
We grabbed coffee and some light cakes. Croissants were sold out..
Just fine, anyway much better than trying to tackle that nice part of the city on an empty stomach.
Everything was OK, nothing fancy, nothing special.
We asked 'in Italian' for a sweetener pouch...
After a while, they gave us..a small plastic saccharine dispenser, that they probably use and pass every day to other customers....
We didn't want to take it. We did not like it! We wanted a single paper pouch.Not opened.
Those are the things that really make you frustrated and disapponted.
That shows an absolute lack of attention to details.
The service was a little rude, distract and slow.
A little pricey.
The cappuccino, at € 1,30, was more expensive than in other coffee shops in the most elegant areas of the city.
Probably, we won't go back.

One of Rome's many hit-and-run cafes, where locals walk in and have a quick espresso and pastry before continuing with their day, this busy little cafe also offers inside and outside seating for those who want to take more time over their morning coffee.

I wouldn’t say their gelato is exceptionally better than any of the other places we went to, but GREAT value for the cost. I believe we paid €1.20 for piccolo (small). Service was fast, their was only a small crowd. I had the pistachio and coffee gelato and thoroughly enjoyed them. My husband had a dark chocolate gelato that was rich and delicious as well. Enjoy!

Terrible place, be careful... They display a sign that says "two spritzes 15 euros with free aperitif"... then instead they make you pay for two measly packets of chips for another 4 euros!!!!! Shameful. The owner had left... the waiter, in poor Italian, tells us "I've been working here for a short time and in the evenings" and hey, he's not here??? When we pointed out to him that it was written on the sign (2 spritzes 15 euros + free aperitif) he hugged the sign and took it away into the bar! You really don't know whether to laugh, cry or get angry in a Rome that in an attempt to defraud unlucky tourists, in the end also defrauds Romans who take a stroll in the centre! But you shouldn't defraud anyone but honestly welcome those who pay you!!!!
Honestly, I can only say "how sad and how shameful", I would like to be proud of being romsna but some people are really terrible at it. Needless to say, they will never see us again! But don't go there either, Rome is great... go elsewhere!
I'm giving 1 star... but obviously because you can't do less... otherwise due to the dishonesty and rudeness of the waiter it would be - 1000000000!

For many years, we have been returning to Zerottonove every year for breakfast, coffee or cappuccino, but last year and this year we had to pay higher prices than indicated on the price list. We don't like it and won't be returning. Too bad, because everything is of good quality.

We stopped here to eat toast and drink something cold, trusting that some workers were eating there and that two policemen had come in for coffee.
In the sandwich window, exposed to the sun, no prices.
We ordered 2 sandwiches, two mini pizzas, a Messina beer in a 33 bottle, a coke and a small tea for a total of €38. Beer only €8. When we went to pay, we noticed that €4 was written next to the beer in the fridge. We asked and were told that we had been charged table service.
Small table, not clean when we sat down after the previous occupants, without cutlery, placemats or napkins.
The biggest negative is definitely the bathroom. Extremely dirty, smelly and with a broken door. The stairs to get there were full of cardboard thrown here and there. BAD!

The coffee was pretty good, one of the best we tried. Customer service not so much. We went one day in the afternoon and we liked the experience. The next day we decided to return and even though they had already seen us before and recognized us from the previous day, they did not let us enter the service until we ordered something, not even when we told them that one of us was waiting to be served to ask for a couple of coffees It took them half an hour to serve us more or less. And when they finally did they treated us with the tip of the toe. Not to mention that when we managed to enter the service it was disgusting, an absolute lack of cleanliness.

Ignorant and rude cashier! When asked to go to the bathroom, after having consumed our food, we were treated like beggars, nervously lined up and allowed to access the stairs that led to the basement where the bathroom was located, only with the authorization of the cashier like in kindergarten: the very small bathroom , unique, dirty, paperless!!!! A foreign lady behind us ran away from the queue.... And this is the Italy that should welcome the jubilee????!!!!

I don't recommend this cafeteria, it's a real tourist trap! 2 cappuccinos with 2 industrial biscuits for €18.00!!! knowing that it is a popular business without any decoration and the toilets are not even clean. his argument is that the price is doubled when you sit on the terrace. If you pass by, don't stop.

Terrible!
1 glass of wine, unknown label, 1 estathé €17!!!
We were served on a dirty table with glasses from previous customers still on it.
After having consumed and paid my husband was heading towards the bathroom when he was verbally attacked by a regular customer or a waiter (we are not sure why he acted as if he was the owner of the place) pushing him away in a rude way telling him to follow a non-existent queue . The waiters ignored everything that was happening.
Small and dirty bathroom!
I strongly advise against it.

The best coffee in Rome, despite the nearby presence of a historic café bar. Very friendly and professional staff. Perfect location for a coffee break or to enjoy an aperitif in the centre. Advised.

This was my favorite cornetto in Rome. It was a honey cornetto that tasted kinda like an apple fritter. Server was very nice on a busy Sunday morning. Good coffee, but cornetto was the star.

28 euros for 2 coffees, two pastries and 1 smoothie (10 euros for a carrot juice, it was so bad I had to put a ton of sugar to make it seem somehow drinkable) plus, one coffee was cold and undrinkable...
You pay double just to sit!!!
And only cash payments which is not ideal. Would definitely not recommend.
