Recommended by a Roman friend, we enjoyed a wonderful evening with our children of 11 and 13 in this beautifully decorated restaurant. Wonderful atmosphere, kind service, amazingly tasty food.

I don’t understand why this restaurant was highly recommended by so many people. Waste of time. Menu is very complicated and not very accommodating. The waiter was nice but doesn’t understand the concept of fine dining and how to course the dishes. Food was not...good although the presentation and plates were very nice. The interior was done by same designer as Hotel Costes in Paris so very nice. Restrooms were definitely lacking attention!More

After a week in Rome with outstanding food and wonderful experiences we had our last dinner at Casa Coppelle with high expectations. The restaurant was cool, but the food wasn’t great all . The starters was medium, but the main dishes where we had cod...and sea bass we experienced over cooked and dry fish dishes. When we gave the feedback to the waiters. Three of them very politely said they would talk to the chef, but they came back with our jacket without any explanation! We are used to good gourmet food! This is the first time that we are complaining.More

Relaxing, elegant dining in a unique setting. Food is very well presented and tastes great. Prices are on the high side but worth the experience. The staff are extremely polite and professional

Fantastic ambiance and great food! We had the lobster to start and both the cod and the seabass as our mains with their signature salad. Fantastic flavours, creative, fresh and overall fantastic quality. 4.5/5!!!!!

Now it’s very rare I would give a restaurant 5 stars but my golly - the food; the ambience; the service - utterly fabulous I would recommend without hesitation The food was exquisite. We ordered the beef tartare and foie gras for starter - divine...Shared French onion soup - again, delectable Mains - beef fillet and pigeon. Beautiful and memorable We had two dessert wines, impeccable with tarte tartin and creme brulée We had to refill our wine ourselves but only a slight mark in what as a truly fabulous meal with warm, generous service - thank you so much for impressing us! We will treasure our experienceMore

My partner and I were recommended Casa Coppelle from a local friend in Rome and are eternally grateful he did. The service is amazing and only surpassed by the food itself. We opted for the Chefs tasting menu and wine pairing and every mouthful was...a joy to behold. The decor is incredible, the atmosphere sophisticated and charming. If you are looking for a special dining experience and incredible food and wine this is definitely the place to go.More

We found Casa Coppelle by accident. It was near our hotel and we walked in and asked for reservations for the next night. What a fortunate find. On arrival the next night we found the atmosphere elegant, quiet, sophisticated, charming and comfortable. There was jazz...music (Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, etc) playing at just the right volume. Service was impeccable. The staff was friendly and hospitable. They were attentive and professional but not overbearing. Our meal was excellent. We both had antipasti. My wife had the duck and potato with Brie. She said it was one of the best things she had ever eaten. I had the foie gras with brioche which was sublime. My wife had the pigeon breast for her main course and it was perfectly cooked (slightly pink in the middle) and delicious. I had the rabbit Cappellacci with truffle, Parmesan and pumpkin. It was superb. To us, the atmosphere, the service and the food were perfect. But there were two other elements that became apparent as we enjoyed our meal. One was portion size. The antipasti were both hearty and we were worried that we would be too full when the main course came out. But, the main courses (mine a primi and hers a secondi) were perfectly sized and matched our appetites precisely. We were pleasantly full afterward with just enough room for dessert. The second thing was timing. We never felt like we were having to wait for food nor were we ever rushed. Service and food came with just the right timing. I don't know if this was a happy accident but it seemed integral to the high level of service. This was not an inexpensive meal but neither was it exorbitant. Given how every element of the meal came together so perfectly we felt we got excellent value for the money. All-in-all it was a wonderful dining experience. I use the word 'experience' because all of the elements of a fine meal came together perfectly. We agreed that this was among our top five dining experiences and possibly the best ever.More

Let’s talk about a wonderful culinary experience! I was recently in Rome and the one restaurant I really wanted to attend was Casa Coppelle. Not only was this restaurant named to the Michelin Guide it rang bells across Italy. I had lunch in Milano at...Savini and the staff were shouting high praise for Casa Coppelle and their owner. When I got to the restaurant I was greeted by the hostess Tania. Throughout the night Tania checked up on me a couple times to see if I had everything I needed and even recommended some palatable drinks and delicious dessert options which did not disappoint. The ambiance at Casa Coppelle I can say was chic elegant. I felt the sophistication as I was lead to my table and caught myself a few times gazing at the beautiful decor that was exhibited on the walls. As I placed my order and throughout the night I had some wonderful conversations with some of the staff members. They were well versed in all topics ranging from Italy’s culinary scene, to European travel and even current politics. What’s a great meal without great conversation. The staff at Casa Coppelle made me feel right at home. Now what can I say about the food. Bravo! My appetizer was the Foie gras with cherry/grape accents scented with flowers and my main dish was Lamb served with eggplant dripped in a scrumptious barley sauce. Each dish was full of plentiful flavour and the succulence of lamb that I ordered was extremely savouring. I was very pleased with the options that I selected. I can say Casa Coppelle lived up to its name and the Michelin Guide. I’ve been fortunate enough to dine at a few a Michelin Star restaurants throughout my life time (Boka, Spago, Picasso, Bouchon, Da Vincenzo’s) to name a few but I can say this was one of my all-time favourite dining experiences. Last but not least as I finished up closing the bill the Hostess Tania walked me out which I felt was class all the way. As I mentioned previously the staff made you feel like you were at home. When I stepped out to exit towards the patio and the owner of Casa Coppelle graciously caught my attention and asked me about my experience and we had a great conversation which ended in a big hug. She was such a sweet and humble lady. This culinary experience was First Class all the way!More

We stumbled into this restaurant and realised it was slightly more formal and expensive than we expected. It did however have the option to share mains which seems to be an Italian thing anyways so we chose carefully. I enjoyed my rigatoni dish with tomato...and bacon (albeit very al dente but this is common) and for the main we shared a courgette barley dish and really really excellent mashed potatoe. Overall was a nice experience and a good shout if you’re after formal dining.More

The restaurant was by no means busy when we arrived, we were informed the tasting menu was unavailable, of the 5 dishes we ordered the first starter was delicious Foie gras with a berry compote, the crispy octopus was not so crispy and lacked flavor,...unfortunately these were the only 2 dishes of the five that we ate, the risotto had 2 frogs legs deep fried in crumbs thrown on top, the flavors of this dish are incongruous with each other, the frogs legs were over cooked and dry, the risotto on the other hand was timed perfectly but the lack of attention to detail was evident in the large pieces of peppercorn which when bitten into over-powered any flavor with the intense pepper, the last two dishes were returned after one bite, the duck was so salty I gagged, the fish needs to be fresh when cooked especially at a 1 star Michelin restaurant so it was returned due to taste.More
