I had a disgraceful experience here. The pricing was honest and pasta was very good, but the owner sexually harassed my girlfriend. And I mean it. He carefully waited for me to pay the meals, and afterwards he "adviced" my gf to "keep legs shut...while seated with a short skirt otherwise his workers couldn't work". She wasn't wearing anything flashy to be honest and she was acting normal at the dining table. His statement and his attitude made him an absolute creep. Fortunately the situation didn't escalate, we left asap after the accident. I'll never come back and so will do my friends. WARNING: the place isn't safe for women.More

Myself and my friend came here for drinks and we were impressed. The customer service was excellent and we didn’t have to wait to be served at all. The drinks were great and reasonably priced. The waiter also gave us complementary snacks and was very...friendly. Overall, a great spot in a great location, definitely recommend.More

Wonderful authentic Italian food at competitive prices in a lovely basement. Fried courgettes flowers stuffed with mozzarella and anchovies were a standout appetiser. Pasta is homemade and delicious. Highly recommended.

Very bad experience at Trattoria Vecchia Roma. It was a suggestion from our host so we were very eager to try it. However the waitress there was very unpleasant. Moreover, we ordered an aperitivo plate (a mix of cheese and ham) for 2. The table...next to us ordered the same aperitivo for 1 person. Their plate was twice bigger and fuller than ours. We were charged twice what the other table was for tuis. When i raised the issue, no one on the staff wanted to listen. They pretended there was no problem and they couldn't understand me. Very disappointed, to avoid.More

Great Italian restaurant that serves a lot of delicious dinner options, including pizza and pasta, all for a very reasonable price. The friendly staff and nice restaurant decorations made our visit a true Roman experience. Do make sure to make a reservation or be there...at 7 pm, because it can get quite busy. If you visit the place, I can definitely recommend the gnocchi or buccatini pecorino.More

We visited the restaurant beginning of febuary before all the covid crisis. It was great. Food and service. Crowded place though so you must wait if you come at a busy time.

Went for lunch on this place on our last day in Rome, right before we had our flight, as we saw a lot of good reviews and we weren't disappointed. The place is pretty crowded so definitely it's recommended to get a reservation. If you...don't have a reservation then you will have to wait for a while to get a free table but luckily the staff ir pretty nice and friendly and you don't have to wait for too long, for us, it took about 7-8 minutes until we got a table. Food was pretty good, we got a lot of pasta dishes and they were all good, properly cooked. Overall, we got a pretty nice family lunch, place is kind of crowded but staff is nice and friendly, food is also pretty good.More

Great place to eat: tasty food, wonderful room in a basement with an old roman feel, cheap, quick, nice staff. Only negative: usually crowded, especially at dinner, so you should reserve table. If no frills are expected and you just want a traditional tasty meal,...you will surely like this place!More

We fouond this restaurant by accident and went back a second time. The restaurant is very busy and it is best to have a reservation or you may not get seated. The food was very good, the prices were good and the service was great.

It is a big pecorino cheese that they use. When I went there I stood up close to the cheese and I saw them doing it. It is a great, fun experience and also a delicious plate. I tried both flambé they have, and I have to say... More

I doubt that. I just assume that they don’t pick up the phone. I was only there once and didn’t make a reservation. Just go there and check. The wait won’t be long
