We were hesitant to go to a restaurant of this caliber after a long day of excursions, but are so glad we overcame our inertia, as we really would have regretted missing out on this. The view and the sunset were absolutely spectacular. Cannot think of a better setting, and words don't do it justice. We opted for the a la carte menu; the bread and extensive olive oil selection was impressive, the amuse bouche was flavorful and creative and our starter (the aubergine) was a true knock out (I could eat it every day). The beef main was also perfectly cooked. Very good with accommodating gluten allergies, too! My friend was able to get tempura fish, which she is never normally able to order due to a gluten allergy. My only points of feedback is that the service started strong but sort of trailed off towards the end. It was also a bit disjointed. I think if this restaurant smooths a few things out, they are well on their way to 2 stars.

We visited this restaurant after walking past it the previous day and noticed the spectacular views from the terrace.
Throughout our meal the serving staff managed to maintain the right level of attentiveness without being intrusive …very professional.
The food and wine was excellent. I had pasta my partner steak both of which were fresh, full of flavour and portions were perfect.
We enjoyed this experience with glorious views. All in all this was a excellent dining experience and I would definitely recommend.

The restaurant is part of Hotel Londres Lorelei and displays magnificent views on Marina Piccola of Sorrento. My wife and I went for the tasting menu with accompanied wines. It was a tremendous experience and our best meal in two weeks in Sorrento and the Costiera Amalfitana. Both the maitre D and the young chef de cuisine deserve a great applause!

Why service was bad: water and wine being poured across table mostly with the waiter’s elbow in my face. Sommelier is not interested to give you a nice experience, just to sell the most expensive bottles….didn’t had any intentions to find out what food we choose, to check if the wine complements it. Plates had a lot of fingerprints, and the cutlery was very scratched and stained. My wife waited more than 10 minutes for the wine glass to be changed. Kitchen was not doing any better….red shrimps didn’t had their intestines removed, octopus was overcooked, fish was not cooked even, pre desert had way too much sugar, and the desert was like combing a cheap biscuit with even a cheaper chocolate. My birthday cake, ordered in advance, with a supplementary cost, was another failure. Oh, and don’t forget, despite the 5* hotel and 1* Michelin, there is no parking or valet parking available. Such a pity as the view is wow.

I chose to have dinner at this elegant restaurant with a mesmerizing sea-view to treat myself with refined food and fine wine. My expectations were totally met. The food was delicious and the waiters took care of all our requests. Highly recommended for a special dinner in Sorrento.

Ristorante Lorelei is a beautifully situated restaurant in Sorrento with attentive staff and outstanding cuisine.
On arrival, we were greeted by their very welcoming staff and shown to a quiet table with a full view of their restaurant kitchen where we could see the positive atmosphere among their kitchen staff as they collaborated on the creation of fantastic dishes.
The wait staff were extremely attentive and made sure to check for any food allergies before we ordered, and were able to recommend the best tasting menu for us, along with an ideal pairing of prosecco for our meal and a locally produced olive oil to accompany their bread selection. Maître d' Marco and his staff were vigilant and responsive to our needs during the meal and were able to provide detailed descriptions of each dish as it was served.
All of the dishes, including the amuse bouche and pre-dessert palate cleansers, were nothing short of works of art. It is plain to see that Chef Ciro and his dedicated team are truly invested in creating artistic dishes, with the freshest local ingredients, that turn dining into a diverse and exciting sensory experience.
It is worth noting that I visited Ristorante Lorelei with my partner who is also a chef at a Michelin starred restaurant. He was also tremendously impressed with the quality of the food and service which contributed to a wonderful visit.
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Should you choose to visit, the chef and staff are sure to provide you with a memorable and beautiful experience.

We visited as a special treat meal on our honeymoon. We're both foodies but can't afford to regularly eat Michelin food so this was something we were really looking forward to and unfortunately were totally disappointed. It felt like the vegetarian menu was an after thought with very little Michelin quality about it at all. The staff were nice however the whole dining experience also lacked the Michelin standard you'd expect, such as having damp table cloths and napkins which they explained was due to getting rid of creases (why not do this we'll ahead of guests arriving so they don't have to sit with something damp on their lap?!). It was just a real disappointed, and left a bitter taste having to pay so much for such a lacklustre experience, especially on honeymoon!

Very nice location. Waiters were responsive and we never waited long before they responded to our requests. Food was playful and topnotch. We got a brilliant wine suggestion from the sommelier. The restaurant itself was clean and stylish and the total experience was perfect! We can’t wait to come back! Great job and a well deserved star in the Michelin guide.

The photos do not do justice to the beautiful setting as the sun slides away in the evening… our meal was absolutely amazing from the amuse bouche to after dinner drinks in the cliff side bar. Sascha the restaurant manager is wonderful and he was incredibly attentive and assured our every comfort and enjoyment - the service all around was excellent! The food lived up to and beyond its Michelin star rating- every dish was a creative pice of artistry and masterful culinary delight. The special of the day appetizer was a fish tartare caught a couple hours earlier and served in a simple yet sophisticated manner. My lemon desert was atomized at the table with an intoxicating spritze of chartreuse liquor! We will most certainly returning and I highly recommend this experience to all of my friends visiting sorrento! Overall our evening was unfrickingbelievable!!!

Chef CIRO SICIGNANO is amazing. We had the tasting menu. Started out with a choice of olive oils. With our knowledgeable waiter’s help, we chose an oil that was very robust and complemented the breads that were clearly lovingly made. Each course of our tasting menu was a wonder. There was not a bite that was not a delight. The entire experience was made unforgettable by the beautiful setting outdoors overlooking the bay, the knowledgeable and attentive staff and the spectacular food. Do not miss this gourmet treat!

Everything about this restaurant was Perfect!
The location on the Bay of Sorrento is stunning
The space feels warm and welcoming despite a clean minimalist decor. I can’t say enough about the wait staff. Our waitress Marianne felt like a good friend! With an extensive wine list the sommelier helped me pick the perfect wine (and in the price range that I was comfortable with)
The picture window allows one to see the well orchestrated scene in the kitchen and adds to the experience.
And then of course the FOOD! Just superb. I will rate my overall dining experience as one in my top 5 !
I will definitely recommend a visit here while in Sorrento.

Our dinner at Lorelei was magnificent. The 7 course tasting menu experience was nothing short of pure magic. Each element of every dish was perfectly curated to cast its own individual spell; recalling elements of land and sea, honoring local ingredients. Grateful to the staff for being our guides throughout all of this. From the sommelier’s expertly chosen wines, to the server’s pitch perfect introductions to each course, to the culinary brilliance of everyone in the back of the house, all contributed in making our time amazing. We’ll be talking about this meal for a great long while.

Michelin starred chef creating excellent food, with great service and OUTSTANDING view! We ate both a lunch and dinner at the restaurant - the food was very creative, the tasting menu for dinner well worth it. Staff were very attentive and you're sitting with a wonderful view to Sorrento. Afterwards we had a drink at their sunset bar as well.

Ristorante Lorelei is beautifully located in Sorrento with a breathtaking view of Vesuvius, Ischia, Proceda and Naples. A top review goes to the entire staff who made us feel so welcome, so thoughfully looked after and who really tried and succeeded to meet all of our expectations. The food was beautiful, both visually and to eat, a treat for both your eyes and mouth. My partner took the tasting meny and I had the a la carte. The bread that you receive at the beginning was truly the best bread ever and I almost wish I could have had the whole thing for dinner. The starter with artichoke was a dream come true for all artichoke lovers. I also had the risotto and it was perfection. I cannot recommend this place enough, don’t miss it if you are in Sorrento.

I was looking forward to our dinner at Ristorante Lorelei being a highlight of our southern Italy trip, but it felt short. I expect impeccable food and service when we pay over 400 euros for a meal at a highly-rated Michelin-star restaurant. It could have been an off night for the kitchen and staff, but when our bottle of wine came before our ordered cocktails, the extremely long wait between our third and fourth courses, or the Rat Pack Christmas music was playing in June, it just felt off.
