Rad Cafe is a restaurant/bar located in Diagonal Avenue, near from University zone, in Barcelona, the main city in Catalonia. Great place to go for lunch if you are in the area. The restaurant has a delicious and affordable lunchmenu. It does get a bit noisy. Service is friendly and attentive.
Menu dia for 14€ was great value for money. Seafood Paella for starter, steak and dessert .... not gourmet but excellent value for money
It was average in every aspect, maybe except the waiter, he was nice. Interior looks fine, tables are too close to each other and our was instabil. The waitress made faces when she tought we would not leave tip but smiled when she realized we...did, I did not find it appropriate. Meals were average.More
It was an overcast, windy day with periods of light rain. Stopped in here for a late lunch as it is on the Hop on Hop off bus route. Great atmosphere, good service and wonderful food.
Stopped here for lunch. €14 for a 2 course lunch. I had a Greek salad and then salmon with fried artichoke. Yummy. Hubby had a soup and swordfish. Also yummy. Service was quick.
Walking around the neighborhood where we are staying we stumbled across Rad Cafe and thought we would give them a try. Staff is friendly and worked with us to overcome the language barrier. The sangria was good, albeit a little sweet. The mushroom burger was...most excellent, almost like a Salisbury Steak and poutine. The curry chicken was okay, but could have been spicier. Great place for food and drinks before and after FC Barcelona game. Good beers and gins, as well as tapas. Great service and quick, if you’re in a rush. Close to metro station and about a 6 minutes walk to ground.
Only good thing is the wifi. Terrible food, fried and literally flies were soaked in oil. Waste of money.
