This place is amazing. The food and service is outstanding. Jose is sheer entertainment and if you're lucky enough to be served by him he will make your evening!!!

I’ll keep it short - book ahead as mega busy. Service was impeccable and the setting is everything you’d want in an authentic tapas bar. The food is the main event and everything was delicious, highlights the prawn and sweetbread dish, fried artichoke, oxtail and...mash and the tortillitas de camarones. Amazing!!! Everything was spectacular! We crossed all of Barcelona to come here as a friend said it was a must and it was all worth it! Every single dish was exquisite! Not to mention their amazing staff!

Dinner on our last night of a long weekend visit. Our friends at Soho House were able to get a reservation on 3 hours notice (minor miracle!) We arrived at 8:00 pm; the tourists were reaching the end of their meals and the locals were...arriving. Not an empty seat anywhere but somehow we were shown to an intimate table in the corner. Our gorgeous 13 year old daughter immediately charmed the waiters and our evening was off to a great start. Tuna tartare, broiled scallops, outstanding paella, these were among the highlights of a delicious meal; we shared everything and drank a lovely bottle of Billecart-Salmon Champagne. Restaurants like this are few and far between; highly recommended.More

Food was 110% delicious! Good service, very attentive. Will definitely come back, unfortunately not a five star because the shrimps were finished for the day (approx at 19.00) but will give it a new chance!

Simply ahhhazing and probably my favorite dinner for our whole that wasn’t Michelin starred. After trying tapas all around Barcelona including the ones in the markets it was cool to try Bar Cañetes version of tapas. I was relieved to see they didn't offer the...typical papas bravas on their menu but had so much more. My faves were the fried eggplant, anchovies, paella, lobster croquettes, blood sausage over fresh peas and green bean salad. The service was super friendly, kinda excellent and they also had a great selection of wine. Next time we visit we will try for a seat at the bar which seemed to be the place to be. Make reservations way in advance.More

All dishes were good here, and we want to come back another time to try more dishes! Service was excellent too. And you have to order the dessert here, super good!

By far the best meal we have had so far in Barcelona. It is a small long bar, with tables at the end, and great vibes The food was amazing and service was on the spot. A must try!

The best dinner I had while in Barcelona and just high energy place to witness. I sat at the bar since I didn't have a ressie, and this was perhaps the best "seat" in the house. Good tapas, busy venue, great service. Burrata, daily paella, and oxtail were delish. Recommend if you are in the area. Book reservations, and if full, call and ask for earlier or later time slots.

Fun place, well executed typical Spanish food, knowledgeable staff, good value, the only negative is the location (somewhat of a dingy street).
