Good creative tapas place. We went as a group of friends for a birthday and shared several tapas. Would highly recommend the duck ravioli and the scallops. Would skip the beetroot eggplant. Unfortunately there was wasn’t much choice for the vegetarians in the group. Good...house wine and great service.More

This was an anniversary dinner, so I was looking for somewhere special. The place was quiet and intimate, with a really great waiter and true high-end fine dining. In a very nice area, just a few blocks from Gaudi's Casa Batllo (we actually did Casa...Batllo at 7:30pm, and went right over to Etapes for dinner afterward) What attracted me was the pre-set gourmet menu options (no decisions to be made) and the wine pairings. We went all-in on the Chef's tasting menu with the pairings. Our waiter could have taught a master class in wine, and went into great and interesting detail on each offering brought to the table. Each of the courses were elegant, exotic and beautiful - like in "I hate to poke this with my fork, it's so pretty..." beautiful. Their a la carte options looked really good as well, and though the $110 per person for our experience was money well spent, I know you could get a great meal much less expensively with off the menu ordering. It was everything you would want in a dinner experience on a special night.More

We have eaten in a million good restaurants but this spot always jumps right to the top of our list. Impeccable, creative, personal..fabulous. For an unforgettable experience this is the spot.

Booked a table outside and were treated to a delightful tasting menu with matching wines and splendid service from the delightful couple who own and run this restaurant. The restaurant is situated just away from the immediate center of Barcelona and is a select spot...to enjoy a meal. More than sufficient on the menu besides the Tasting one and there would appear to be a good selection of wines. All in all we would suggest that this lovely small restaurant is a delightful one in which to enjoy the delights of the city and yet feel you are sufficiently away from the hustle and bustle of the center itself. As far as we were concerned , a very good find.More

Nice place and interesting food. Small restaurant in a nice neighbourhood. Very reasonable prices! The service was good, but they were rushing it. We got the 5-course menu and they kept bringing each course a second after removing the previous plate which made us full...very fast and couldn’t enjoy the different meals properly. We were only half way through our wine after having desert which has never happened before. They even brought our main dish to the table while we were smoking outside which is not how it is done. Irrespective of the above, we enjoyed our time in Etapes!More

We had the tasting menu and it’s real value for money. It’s only 35e and we got to try an awesome five courses menu.

Elegance and class, they have it in spades. The place is small, even though we didn´t reserve we were lucky enough to get a table due to a cancellation. We enjoyed the food and service, the wine pairing was spot on. I don´t normally have...it but I tried the suckling pig, yummy! and the smokey rice was really delightfulMore

This place knocked the cover off the ball. Food was great and very interesting. Small dishes with creative combinations. All the plates were great. The cannelloni was to die for. The service was top notch. And a beautiful garden area outside.

The tapas at this restaurant were innovative and yummy. The service was a tad slow, so don't come here if you are in a hurry. Nice ambiance and friendly staff. Highly recommend.
