The best pizzas we have had for a long time! Good service - even though it was quite busy. Lovely drinks - book a table if you can.

The restaurant was not full when we arrived at 20:00 on a Saturday night, but still it took the waitress 30 minutes to take the first order for drinks and antipasti. The order for the main course was later taken by Vito, the boss. It...took until 21:30(!!) for our drinks and antipasti to arrive, just as we were so hungry that we decided to stand up and go eat somewhere else. Ten minutes later they brought out the pizza, and one of four that we ordered was not the kind we asked for. Instead of apologizing, the boss ran out and yelled at us, saying that he doesn't have any more dough to make our friend a new pizza, then disappeared in a disgruntled manner. Our friend finally did receive a pizza around 22:00. All in all, we spent 2 hours waiting for food. The boss was ill-mannered and loud, the only waitress had bad mood, and we were very cold sitting outside for two hours with no food. Finally, the pizzas that arrived were absolutely heavenly! Best I ever tasted... a masterpiece. Which is even sadder, because you feel like your experience of great food is wasted through grossly bad service.More

Loved their pizza! Different style of Italian pizzas My favorite pizza is the Bienenstich which was quite spicy but the honey drizzle on top was just perfect! Beautifully located on the outskirts of the central city with a great view!

My son took me for dinner to this place. He is a big fan. Don Vito is the owner and one of the waiters. His wife cooks. Everything is fresh. Now I realize why son is such a big fan.

I recently visited Don Vito after many recommendations and i was very impressed with great food, and service. I Ordered a day special which was a calzone wrapped in aged Serrano Ham, and it was a perfect meal. The owner and family, are great and...make you feel at home A must visit in LubeckMore
