The food is incredible. Seriously wonderful. I've never had smoky aubergines like that, I could write poetry about them!! I recommend this place so, so highly. Friendly staff, lovely space. Wish them all the very best.

great vegan food and the people working there were really nice. The small meze was amazing and wine was good. Would go again for sure!! they have many gluten free options and gluten free bread, so this was a plus for us!

Had a gorgeous dinner with my friend here last night. Having never eaten this type of food before I was unsure what to expect. My friend and I shared falafel balls with baba ganoush - my first time trying either of these two things -...and they were absolutely gorgeous. The chicken skewers with the pita bread were so good - the chicken was cooked to perfection. All the staff were so attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back.More

The food here is fresh, delicious and customer service is really good. I really enjoyed the roasted cabbage and sweet potato dish. The flavours are excellent! I enjoyed it so much I didn't have time to take any pictures.

Last day in our 3 day Dublin trip and we just happened to discover this restaurant. We had a shakshuka, shawarma pitta and schnitzel pitta for our child The shawarma was messy to eat but it was out of this world delicious. Staff are friendly...and helpful. It was the perfect way to end the holiday. We've got a takeaway so we can eat at the airport. Absolutely loved this little hidden gem of a restaurant!!More

It's unfortunate but here we are. I live very close to this place and it was a favourite. The staff are lovely especially Ruby, but unfortunately they have an owner who won't take responsibility for bad meals coming out of his kitchen. An owner who...points the finger at his staff with every excuse for his own failings. Not cool at all. The poor manager lady looked like she was going to cry. That's not a business to support. I ordered on 11th August with my friend. We ordered 3 dishes, I ate 3/4 of the Arayes and was having stomach cramps withing 30 mins and was violently ill soon after for the rest of the night. These are classic symptoms of staph food poisoning which comes on between 30-90mins after consuming undercooked meats. I had leftovers of the offending Arayes and contacted Shouk the next morning (12th August) as it was clearly raw. I got a standard copy paste reply stating that the Arayes always looks raw and they tell all their customers this. This notification is nowhere on the menu at all. Having had the dish before (it was a favourite) and never had this violent reaction I replied that that particular notification was nowhere on the menu and considering I had spent the last 13 hours in the bathroom being violently ill that a conversation needs to be had. The owner Alon them called with his copy paste reply and I pointed out that the meat was not bad, just seriously undercooked which brought on vomiting and diarrhea. I told him I still had a small portion and I could bring it over to him. Which I foolishly did in good faith. I should not have. He promised to sort it out and then crickets. I got a pocket dial from him on the Saturday but nothing at all. One week later - still nothing so I called again, again Alon promised to have someone call and sort it out and then again crickets. Later that evening the same copy paste reply in reference to the Arayes but this time with additional info on how I could be sick for a multitude of reasons, not the most obvious one that was the food that I ate. For the record, no one else shared my food and I was the only one puking and pooping. I asked for a call, as this was the same copy past reply and suggested I just walk over to the restaurant at that point and get my refund. At this point he began to panic ring me blaming everyone and his mother for him not bothering addressing a case of food poisoning from his kitchen. He had the audacity to blame his staff on him not fixing the situation. I was no longer willing to put up with such rudeness and a lack of professionalism from someone who had made me sick with his product and who I had approached decently and kindly to sort it out. So I went over and got my money back. If you do go here, don't order the Arayes. And have pity on the staff, they work for someone who blames them for his mistakes.More

Booked on a recommendation so got a late afternoon spot as this place is busy and has rave reviews! I'm a big fan of middle eastern food so had to give this a go while in Dublin. TLDR: Cool atmosphere and decor and the menu...has a decent choice. Wine and coffee are lovely, and the chicken is tender and succulent. The mince blend leaves a lot to be desired for the Arayes I had. Service was pretty poor. Food: Family had pita and chicken skewers which were excellent, well flavoured and succulent. I had Arayes and I wish I hadn't. I was informed it was traditionally medium rare but when it arrived the mince was overcooked and dry, with a disappointing lack of flavour. The sour cream dip and the roasted veggies helped, but I could have done with more of those to offset the meat. We had baclava for dessert. Can't complain but not as sweet as other baclava I have had before. Very solid and do recommend. Drink: Great Lebanese wine. Beer is astonishingly limited. Madri was the only beer on offer because the Blue Moon tap was broken. Not sure if the place is BYOB. Middle Eastern Coffee was very fragrant and tasted good, but a little on the weak side for my tastes. Service: This is a bit of a kicker as it is what brings the review down for me. Getting someone's attention was difficult. I ordered a pint of Blue Moon. It didn't arrive. I asked three times for the pint only to be informed the tap was broken on the third ask half way through the meal. If it was an issue, inform me right away. We had barely gotten dessert before the bill was slapped down and we'd only been sitting just over an hour. It felt rushed, and there was no need for it. Overall, a decent restaurant. Maybe this was an anomaly but I'd be hesitant on returning myself due to the service and arayes.More

Fantastic spot, food is always fresh and delicious. Staff are great. It was really busy but they found us a table outside. Great service and very attentive . We had the shawarma, the shishlik and the schnitzel pitas and some hummus to share. Two delicious...glasses of Sobreiro and a Blue Moon brought the bill to a very reasonable 65.00. Great value! Thank you.More

I was so looking forward to trying here and finally went. Hummus is my favourite food! The ambience was lovely, the decor was amazing and my falafel kebab very tasty. However, disappointed with the hummus which looked great but was the blandest I’ve ever had....Will go back but won’t get the hummus!More
