Cranberry Swamp Gluten-Free Cafe

Location and contact

Cranberry Swamp is a cool stylish licensed restaurant located at 24 Skinner Street, Whitby. We specialise in gluten-free food but do offer a choice of bread for those of you who love your toast! Gluten-free does not mean Fun-free! If anything the flavours & textures of our meals are enhanced by the richer, more wholesome and varied ingredients used. (We're open 7 days a week from 8am to about 4.00pm-ish). We have a range of delicious and alternative breakfasts as an antidote to the 'Full English.' i.e. Avocado & Bacon on toast, beautiful porridge and gorgeous House Kedgeree and, the by now famous, Mex Eggs. There are also a wide range of light meals served throughout the day including vegetarian

Welcoming staff and interesting retro decor. Great selection of food and drinks, something for everyone. Quick service, enjoyable food and a lovely place to pop in for a cuppa and a chat.

Amazing breakfast which is rare to find for my gluten-intolerant boyfriend! So many options to choose from and there really is something for any dietary requirement. Staff were super lovely too.. I’m just sad we live 3 hours away!!

Dig a bit more in your pocket but the menu is very very tasty and the service is very good in here. It's a Marmite venue to be honest, you like it or not.

We came for breakfast two days running - we loved this cafe. The morning sun streams in through the big windows, and the 60s vibe is bright and cheerful. We had eggs royale - decent portion with two eggs, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Lots...More

I regularly visit the Cranberry Swamp. This time I brought my mum who was visiting, and the kids (one who is a fussy eater but found something on the menu). My kids had a bacon bun and a tuna melt. My mum and myself had...More
