Having heard lots about The Palomar - I was looking forward to getting a booking in, and when I arrived there was a queue out the door - and this was a Tuesday! So when I was sat down in a tiny dark corner which...More

Our waiter was amazing! His passion for the food was contagious. We asked him to choose the dishes and surprise us and everything was absolutely amazing. It was full of flavour! The food, service, and the intimate atmosphere was AMAZING! I will go back!

For the complete experience, book at the bar, which is basically a counter with stools at the compact kitchen, where the chef conducts an orchestra of line cooks who assemble and cook each dish. Chat with the chef and you will learn all about the...More

The food here was exceptional and the service terrific. It took time to get a reservation but it was worth it. Everything we ate was so tasty and it was also pretty reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

I love this restaurant, the food is fresh, delicious and makes you feel full of sunshine. My only gripe is that to get a booking you have to book months in advance.

We loved our whole 'lunch experience' here...on arrival the whole place was far smaller than we'd imagined and it was full. We had booked kitchen bar seats and there's no denying. You are literally sitting across the bar from all the action. Initially we thought...More

Yes, absolutely! The Apollo is on Shaftesbury Avenue, and The Palomar is on a side street off of this - probably less than a 2-3 minute stroll. I'd recommend it, truly.

I remember it being casual, although we 'dressed' up a bit. However, we went for lunch. Might be best to check.
