Great Israeli food! Don't miss the Kubaneha and the amazing polenta! Each person is expected to order 3-4 main dishes. I recommend to order different dishes and share it all together. Please consider that the dishes are not big. They are actually small...

Visited for lunch without a reservation for 5 people on a Saturday afternoon. I think we were lucky to have a table free for us. We ordered chillis, meat, aubergine, pork, chicken and risotto. Really enjoyed the food a lot, along with really good service. Small little restaurant that can get really busy and noisy. The portions was incredibly small... More

Agree . Overpriced and overrated . Went last night with my friend . Food was fine but very small portions and pricey for what it was . Service was slow ... And the manager appeared to rush us by pouring our wine every time the glass was nearly empty at the bar , I felt like it was a fast... More

My partner and I both work in hospitality and we are always looking to explore new venues in and around London. With it located practically on the doorstep, we thought we would give The Palomar a try. The company we worked for in the Cotswolds recommended it to us and safe to say, we weren't left feeling disappointed. We shared... More

We love Ottolenghi, his restaurants and his cookery books and were expecting to eat interesting and complex food informed by the 'rich cultures of Southern Spain, North Africa and the Levant’ to quote the Palomar website. To growing disillusion we ate falafel which was overcooked and hard, Burnt Courgette and Mint Tzatziki which did not have the sweet caramelised note... More

Been here twice now and each time my tastebuds has come alive with great flavours, tastes and textures . This place is always busy and always buzzing. Dishes are sometimes small but gives you an excuse to order lots. Service is always good too .

I discovered this restaurant 2yrs ago! And thank god. Food, staff, atmosphere, everything that I like is there. Thank you very much. And keep going :) You should try the Barbary (palomar's sister)

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
