I took my parter here for lunch on his birthday last Sunday. I had booked a table as opposed to the bar, and they gave us one right at the back. The place is quite small and nothing out of this world, it can even...More

Outstanding food and cocktails. We sat at the bar and watched in amazement at the chefs busily cooking our food! The food is sensational- I’m not sure if I’m even doing it justice! But one course was better than last! And cocktails spot on! Highly...More

Friendly staff, well run kitchen, capable Venetian chef and tasty food including a pleasant basic assembled dessert. Pitta bread and deeps delicious. Seating at the bar is surely not my first choice as not comfortable neither for seating or talking to a friend but now...More

What a great fun restaurant. Tapas and family sharing style. Try the fish. The wine list is not extensive however it has some good selections. Our server was very efficient. Reservations are a must.

Fabulous dining experience! A Foodie restaurant. Enjoyed their spin on modern day Jerusalem. Sit at the bar to watch the Chef's performance preparing your meal. High energy. Make a reservation. The restaurant is small. Fattoush Salad, Polenta with mushroom, asparagus w/truffles and seared scallops delicious....More

I wasn’t aware of how popular this place would be and feel very fortunate that I was able to be squeezed in for lunch without a reservation. I guess that’s a perk to travelling solo. :) One of the things I enjoy about finding a...More

From an innovative and flavorful menu to the well-tuned kitchen you get to watch from your bar-side seat, The Palomar was overall the best dining experience I had on a recent trip to London where every night I was lucky to dine on one knock-out...More

I always know when I found a gem when I can remember the taste and texture and smell of the food I had days after... this is certainly the case with Palomar. I have been obsessing over their seabream dish which was the greatest explosion...More

This is my second visit to Palomar, and both times I’ve been impressed. The restaurant has a very good vibe, and is a pleasant spot for lunch or dinner! The waiting staff are wonderful, and the chefs on display is a really good touch. Try...More

We made our trip to The Palomar with high expectations, and were not disappointed. I chose to be sat at a table, although many other diners report an excellent experience sitting at the bar. The Kubaneh bread to start was warm and perfectly textured. Other...More

Yes, absolutely! The Apollo is on Shaftesbury Avenue, and The Palomar is on a side street off of this - probably less than a 2-3 minute stroll. I'd recommend it, truly.

I remember it being casual, although we 'dressed' up a bit. However, we went for lunch. Might be best to check.
