At the County Arms for drinks - first time there since November 2019 - with a colleague. Fine evening, excellent and friendly service from all the staff who brought our beers to our table. Full marks to Rebecca and her team.

Hi Rebecca and Team!
We both just want to say a huge thank you for making our wedding day as amazing and perfect as it was! We both were so unbelievably happy when we went up to the room and saw how incredible it looked...and every single one of you guys that were working on the day were so welcoming, helpful and accommodating, which put us completely at ease as you guys took care of everything, from the planning to the very end of the night! Also, please say a big thank you to the kitchen staff as there was so much food and everybody agreed that it was all absolutely delicious.
We'll definitely be back soon for more of the amazing food and hospitality!

So happy we could help with your special day!!
Glad you enjoyed everything and we hope too see you again soon, perhaps an anniversary dinner every year haha
We had a wedding at The County Arms and cannot praise the whole experience highly enough. Every detail was taken care of by the wonderful Rebecca and Navin who managed all our expectations and beyond. This was an incredibly happy day made extra special by...the Head Chef's excellent and delicious feast, and the careful attention of the lovely, friendly staff. No task was too much trouble for them and we will always appreciate the effort they made on our behalf to make sure this wedding was as good as it possibly could be.More

Thanks for your lovely review, we are glad you enjoyed your special day as much as we all did.
Hope you are now enjoying married life, and do pop back for your anniversary in due course
Delicious lunch and good service was spoilt by the fact that smoking is allowed under the awning - large table in front of us with many smokers - was as bad as if they were smoking inside the pub as the awning is quite low...and traps the smoke inside - gross and with lots of families around their table.More

Thanks for the review, always great to hear the food and service were good.
Apologies about people smoking outside, this is something we are looking into and will be easier to manage once restrictions end on the 21st of June.
Hope too see you again...More
Booked a table with some old friends, as a reunion from lockdown. I let the manager know I was quite apprehensive about social distancing, given my age and I have to say I was very pleased. Dermott came over to our table when we arrived...and reassured us on all the covid protocols that were in place. Staff and customer respected all the protocols and I immediately felt at ease. Really great, safe experience and would definitely recommend, we will be coming again. Thanks to dermott for his personable approach.More

I live locally but I have just recently started coming to the County Arms. We were given a table in the outside area which had a lovely atmosphere even though it was cold it was super cozy with the heaters and nice music. Team members...were super quick to serve us and attentive during the night, kept coming to the table to ask if we were ok with the drinks. Ended up sharing a camembert as well, it was delicious!! Will definitely be back.More
