I ordered for the second time pizzas from there. I am a professional cook and half Brazilian half Italian, I totally love pizza. And It is in my humble opinion the best pizza in Vancouver area for me. The frango com catupiry and the carne seca pizzas are perfectly made. All the Brazilian flavors are there. Also the Neapolitan dough is thin and crispy just the way it should be. The wood oven forno makes the pizza crocante(crispy). Thank you Captain's Oven for bringing our home flavors to Canada. Stopping into Captains Pizza was a great surprise this week. Grabbed two pizzas - cheese for the kids and capricossa. Found that they are using high quality ingredients - Coppa ham, fior di latte mozza, San Marzano tomatoes , etc. Seriously a great deal for the price.
Pizza shells hand stretched in the traditional Neapolitan style and baked in a 900’F brick Marra Forni oven. What a rare find in a city packed with consistently over processed and over loaded Pizzas.
Incredible value for dollar and flavour that you won’t question. Definitely worth the visit.

Lovely, clean, friendly little spot in Surrey. The sauce and meats are zesty and the hand-tossed crusts are just the right amount of crisp. Very close to what you would get in Naples, just no view of the Med! Great staff and service, in a classy, clean location. And the dessert pizza? Yum! All three of us loved it!

I thought I would give Captain Oven Pizza a try. We order a medium the Works and Captain's Favorite. The crush was under cooked, under sauce and the pizza was uneatable. I would NOT recommend this place in any way. Save yourself the money (and you taste buds) and don't eat at Captain's Oven (you get a better pizza from the frozen section of your grocery store, and we all know how bad frozen pizza is)....I've never been so disappointed and discussed by a meal in my life

OMG definitely one of my new favourite pizza places!
This meat lovers pizza was everything I needed after a long day travelling (no one wants to cook when it’s hot!) The staff there are so friendly and inside was exceptionally clean. I will be back - and truly I wish we ordered 2 pizzas.

Happened to walk around and saw this place . Dropped for lunch . The place look great . The menu placement for ordering is to high . The staff were friendly . I ordered the shrimp app and the focaccia . The focaccia was more a flat bread , good profile and tastes good but not a focaccia. I ordered that hoping it would pair well with the shrimp . However it is only a week since they opened . Lots of staff. The ceramic pizzeria looks dusty could be from recent construction .
I would visit the place in a month after they have gone threw their teething troubles.

Excellent experience. The waitress was super friendly. The food was hot and fresh. We visited the one in downtown Vancouver. Loved the Gail butter a d the sauce. We had cheesesteak pizza . It was delicious with gargonzola cheese. Reasonable prices especially for downtown.

Wow ! What a discovery !!! Finally a pizza place that I can come to and be addicted !Their pizzas are the bomb .Great tasting fresh ingredients and decent pricing too .This coupled with modern decor and friendly staff make it the perfect stop if you are craving an authentic Neapolitan pizza .Can’t wait to go back !!
