I visited here on a coach tour in Jersey. We only had about 45 minutes to eat. The staff were clearly very used to the coach trips and understood. They were very polite, friendly and accommodating. We sat outside as it was a nice day...and this pub makes for a lovely stop. The food was great and everything was brought to the table in a timely manner. Pub is a lovely building with a nice stream running as you walk in. My only disappointment is I could not have spent longer here. My lunch was beautiful and this is a lovely place for a nice lunch, couple of drinks and a nice little beach close by. The staff were absolutely lovely. When I go back to Jersey I would definitely return here to wile away an afternoon in a peaceful setting.More

I have been to Moulin de Lecq numerous times. Some visits have been fine, but on several occasions I have found the owners to act in a rather resentful, obstructive way. Most recent was being denied service because I do not use a mobile phone,...and so could not use the Track & Trace App. That has never been an issue in other Jersey Cafes and Restaurants, because there has always been an option to fill in a paper record. They do not allow that option and the manageress seemed to take a bit too much pleasure in denying us service. I checked the Jersey rules, and there is nothing obligatory about using the App, so I guess they just cannot be bothered to provide a notepad. I encountered a similarly resentful attitude when we arrived through the woodland path, instead of the road.More

This was the nearest place to eat out whilst staying at the Palms Campsite. It’s a lovely ride down the hill but a bit harder coming back unless you have an electric bike. Anyway, we received a very warm welcome and were given a choice...of table. Opting for starters I opted for Whitebait, which came as a goodly portion and my wife the soup of the day. Main was FRESH Mackrell simply cooked and served with seasonal veg and done to perfection. My wife opted for a roast dinner and this was a good portion of food and like the fish cooked to perfection.Add in the friendly staff a very satisfying dining experience. The only issue being getting back up the hill after all the food!!More

Visited Greve de Lecq in the NW of Jersey. Good seaside beach. Then discovered this bar/restaurant just round the corner. Great food. Best fish&chips for ages! Recommended

A very friendly and relaxed meal in the bar. I went twice and was welcomed back. Was travelling alone and felt very comfortable.
