All the food that we ordered are all good, it satisfies our cravings. Crispy palabok and bulalo is the top tier in our order. Sadly we run out of time to enjoy the food and ambiance more. We'll definitely dine here again with our fam. I like to commend monique for being attentive in our needs.

To be honest this place was disappointing, having been recommended by a friend we had high hopes. We endured the 30 minute wait to get inside - as it was busy with locals we thought it would be worth it. We placed submitted our written order (tick box sheet) before being seated. Once inside we were waiting forever for any sort of service. We finally caught a waitresses attention and managed to get some water. The food came and wasn’t hot. We ordered a mixture of about 4/5 different dishes and most of them were bland/tasteless. They also got the order wrong, adding peanuts to dishes that were specifically requested without and sent two of one dish and less rice than ordered. I am not sure how they get this wrong considering the order is written down on a checklist form. One of the drinks we ordered came way after the meal was finished so we had to wait for it to be packaged in a takeaway container. To be completely honest I feel our treatment was lacking compared to other guests as we are tourists and therefore our service was neglected somewhat. We won’t be returning.

Dont eat here. Bad customer service. Always long wait and understaff on ALL locations. We love the food here. I especiallu like that they have taken the food portions to the next level with the s,m,l and true to size. We were fortunate to eat 2 consecutive weeks in Uptown and Greenhills and to our dismay both locations keep on telling their patrons that the long queue os becos of lack of staff. You would see tables that have yet to be cleaned while guests are waiting. If this establishment wants to stay afloat, they better need to improve their service. Just surprising to see the same problem in different branches- hope I dont see the 3rd one with the same response!! Take outs would take time too= 45 mins to 1.15 hours! Hope something can be done here. Ure losing customers because of long wait time and eventually might lose them for good.

Not every restaurant with a long queue is good. Most of the times, it is just a hype or perhaps it is new. Manam in Greenhills is different. Food is great. Serving is a little small. They have 3 sizes of servings - small, medium and large. Don't go for small if u r used to large servings elsewhere. Food is great. We always go here to eat their ginataang laing. That's my nanay's favorite. The leaves are cooked to perfection until the coconut milks converts to oil. U can still tasted the creaminess and sweetness of it. Their Kare-kare is good as well, a little bit thick to my liking though. I ordered the small serving of sizzling bulalo. The gravy was yummy. I have also tried their dinuguan - unlike in other restaurants, their version has less pork fats. We have also tried the lumpiang sariwa and pancit. I love how they put sweet potato in Pancit. For today's visit, I would like to commend Patrick, our server for the day. I noticed that he was very patient and active. He was really fast in his servings. He would smile whenever u ask something from him even if he was very busy. I noticed that he was consistent with this attitude because he was the same with other customers. I belong to the customer service industry and servers like this, need to be recognized.

Back when I was in the USA, I have a boss/friend who loves Filipinos and always plan a trip to the PH because of its culture, people and especially food. We both kinda share our favorite Filipino food which is Sisig. I can remember he always mention “Manam” as his favorite Filipino restaurant because of its Sisig. So it was very intriguing for me back then to try this restaurant when I get back home but unfortunately, my two years for going back and forth to the US I haven’t tried this restaurant yet not until this 10th of November. I thought at first this was all hype and stuff mainly because it was all over the social media and every Manam that I passed on has long lines. But all I can say that my Manam experience in San Juan was outstanding and it is not just all HYPE. I will start with the staff because I am in the food service industry which I notice the staff first before everything. The staff are all welcoming and you will feel the essence of a Filipino culture which is being hospitable. I didn’t get the names of the hostesses when we dined in it is around lunch time but kudos to them how they handled the long lines and reservations of the hungry guests. Also, since it was our first to dine in with Manam, we asked them to do a menu presentation at the door while waiting for us to do an advance order. Only advice that I can give them is to know more about their dish not just to describe what is written on the menu but what is unique to that dish. To the rest of the crew who served us, they were nice and can answer all the questions and they were really fast! No one is just standing but everyone is moving which I prefer so you can attend guests’ wants and needs. I hope every Manam has this kind of staff. About the place, well the ambiance is nice very modern Filipino per say. The only thing that bothers me is the seating space. We were three that time when we dined in and I’m glad we were placed in a booth where my parents were sat in the booth (couch) and I was sat in the chair. And at my back was a long table which my chair was really close to another person which we can actually rub elbows already. I don’t know for the others but I am not a fan of close sitting to other people but it’s okay and I understand mainly because of the space they only have. At the end it all comes down to what keeps us sated, FOOD. I can say that Manam still keeps a part of traditional Filipino cuisine but to add, they revamped it in a way to make it modernized and be exciting every time you dine it again with them. That time we were very hungry so excuse us if we ordered a lot. We ordered their “Ensaladang Namnam”, “Caramelized Patis Wings”, “Crispy Pork Binagoongan”, “Cruncy Salt & Pepper Squid Rings”, “House Crispy Sisig” and lastly for dessert their “Puto Bumbong w/ Muscovado Butter”. Let’s start with the “Ensaladang Namnam”. This is my mom’s favorite of all the dishes we’ve ordered. With the traditional mango, bagoong, tomatoes and onions, Manam added a twist mixing Tinapa flakes and Pomelo. Next one is the “Caramelized Patis Wings”. At first I hesitated upon ordering the dish because it has “Patis” or fish sauce which I don’t really like in my food but hey, the description sold me because of “Caramelized. I really love wings especially Frankies. But Manam’s “Caramelized Patis Wings” is one of the top flavors of wings on my list. The crunchiness and the sauce blended well together. To be honest I didn’t really tasted the fish sauce, maybe there’s a small hint of it but all I can say I will only have fish sauce if it is the “Caramelized Patis Wings.” About their “Crispy Pork Binagoongan”, I loved it. The crispiness of the pork and I like the way they added “Gata” or coconut milk to their Binagoongan. It just really tasted good! Their “Cruncy Salt & Pepper Squid Rings” doesn’t have any unique taste or anything so I won’t talk about it. But hey, their “House Crispy Sisig” is why I dined in with Manam and it is to die for. I will be direct to the point this time, their Sisig is really crispy with every bite and I loved it! I don’t know about the others but the thing that made me fall in love with Sisig at the first place is it’s crispiness. I don’t know if that’s how the original Sisig should be but this is something that other restaurants fail to do is to advertise they have “Crispy Sisig” but when it arrives on your table it’s actually not crispy which Manam literally did not disappoint me. And lastly for an encore, we tried their “Puto Bumbong w/ Muscovado Butter”. Dude, I think if I was born with a silver spoon and Manam is a block away from my house I’ll get their Puto Bumbong every time! We Filipinos love this street food especially when it hits the Ber months. Well we can get this exceptional Puto Bumbong now in Manam even if before or after ber months. It made it exceptional for me because of the Muscovado Butter. I know it’s just a simple thing but how they made it, how the purple rice cake was cooked it is all exceptional. For the price, it is cheap! All the food we ordered is just under PHP 1,500.00 or USD 30 for 3 pax . The portions are good enough for the 3 of us and I suggest if you are dining in for the first time you order Small just to try and figure out the taste. Almost every dish they have has size variations Small, Medium, Large. Overall my first experience in Manam was truly AMAZING. As per my title says, it is EXCITING because every bite of their dishes will excite you to have more.

Still is a popular place So the lines can get long. This particular restaurant shares space with OOMA which is a sushi bar. We Waited patiently until we were able to get a table . Service is good and the food is worth the wait. We ordered the staples sisig, salpicao and lumpia ubod.

Its my brothers birthday celebration and we decided to dine with the whole family. After deciding where to go, Manam was the one we chose since we were curious about the long lines they always have outside the restaurant. Plus we cant make up our mind on what place to dine in to. Its in the middle of the very busy greenhills district and most well known brands are just around the corner since its in a high traffic zone. I would have to commend the building where its at for the parking space and accessibility of the stores from the parking area. From the entrance, the store itself looks ok, a very fresh and casual take on filipino style dining experience. It looks pretty small though and a bit cramped, i just thought, the set up was not really made for big family celebrations which is in contrast to what most group of guests they have that time. It looks more like a “dating young couple casual dining for 2” set-up. The staff were ok, nothing to write home about, looks like they got very busy the whole day since its on a weekend. I just have to mention, i have to ask 5 times to get my water served. The food was ok, specially the presentation of the pansit we ordered, it looks huge til the moment they put the sauce lol. Theres just one observation with the overall structure of the ensemble, everything is sweet. The sinigang, kare-kare, laing etc were all sweet, theres no contrast of taste happening on the table which makes the experience unexciting for the most parts. The overall experience was just fine, maybe its the effect of being in a very busy area and hype that made the experience so. I haven’t tried any other branches yet, so I’m yet to know what they’re up-to next time i visit the brand. Its very nice to see filipino restaurants thrive in this busy industry, i just hope they will live up to the hype and challenges.
