It was so nice to eat here, the restaurant. The food was perfect and served fast and with such good look. We eat Margherita with Mozzarella of Bufala and Spaghetti alla Carbonara and Paccheri with Truffle, mushroom and sausage. Everything was so good! We were able to speak with the Chef Francesco, Italian and he loves what he is doing, you can feel also from his food. He has always a talk and a smile for everyone. They have an other restaurant in BGC but it is smaller compare with this one, but same quality. The restaurant in Mabini has a parking and it is a very nice place, serious, clean and also romantic. I went there with my Nephew and she loved it! Thank you!

I came in this restaurant invited by a friend who organized and decided the menu before our arrival. Normally I'm not confident with this solution, but I was invited so...
Price is a little high but the quality of the food also.
Apart a similar gazpacho as started, everything else was perfert. Superb the beef ribs on a bed of polenta and truffle...really, one of the best things eaten in Manila.
Chapeau.

We loved the food and the perfect ambiance for dating! We were raving about the osso buco and squid ink rice, really yummy. We will definitely be back!

My friend ordered Pollo Alla Cacciatora which is a pasta dish with chicken. Asked our server if it is enough to share. Server said yes. Waited for 20 full minutes. Surprised that serving is very small that it can barely satisfy one! Very hungry but had to order another dish and wait another 20 minutes. I asked if they had white sauce and she recommended Puttanesca which is tomato based but I opted for that because that is the least expensive pasta and I did not want to order an expensive dish that I know will be insufficient to make me full. Although pasta is cooked just right and the Pollo dish is good it is unexceptional. You can have more delicious food with beautiful setting and efficient servers elsewhere. The prices caught us by surprise too because the setting is definitely not fine dining. Soft opening in BGC does not excuse inefficient servers. Needless to say it was a disastrous birthday celebration. Avoid if you are hungry.

We had just closed a deal and wanted some sweets and coffee. I live nearby Francesco's kitchen and decided to take my colleagues. The coffee, latte and mocha were excellent! Unfortunately, all the dessert the waiter recommended were dry and not at all good. We had planned to wait for 5:30pm to order pizza but was already disappointed.
There is a 650php drink all you can wine for 7pm happy hour. Maybe this is worth a come back. Will let you know..

Conveniently located near our place, we've been wanting to try this place. Got the chance cause our youngest son is partial to Italian dishes. Pricey indeed cause of the quality of the food. We've been back four times & get better in ordering.

if you look for a romantic candle light dinner, this isn't the place. I found the interior poorly designed, the table was too small for a "real" dinner. We ended up placing the bottle of water onto the floor, instead of a bottle of wine, we took just 2 glasses instead. At the table next to us, the pasta serving found a place underneath the pizza stand. We patiently observed the waiters figuring this puzzle out. The dinning area gets quite noisy when full.
The quality of food was just average. As starter, we had the grilled octopus salad, unfortunately the tips were burnt, the very much praised "killer" Carbonara didn't live up to the expectation as Primo and the Secondi, well also here just average. The servings generally lacked finesse. it was a disappointing culinary evening, we skipped the Dolce.
Manila starts to have a good selection of Italian restaurants for better or equal value. Finding the way through traffic to Francesco's is not worth the trouble.
my average rating is considering that we are in Manila. A review in Italy wouldn't merit the same.

We were 6 for dinner. Service was efficient & fast and the food excellent. The grilled squid was as good as those in Europe.

We just had dinner. Restaurant was full. Food would have been ok. Service extremely baaaad. Glass of wine did not arrive even after following up twice. I had to go to cashier to ask a 3rd time. Different servers coming up to us without knowing previous arrangement with the one before them.
Not going back.

For sure the BEST REAL ITALIAN PIZZA in Manila.
As Italian, find real Italian food abroad is always something hard.
I've been invited out for dinner at Francesco's Kitchen and I've been able to taste the real Italian taste of delicious food.
Here a few personal considerations:
Taste of food 4.5/5
Quantity of food 3/5
Prices of food 2/5
Price/Quality ratio 3.5/5
The restaurant is an upscale and pricey but is definitely worth each peso.
Portions are not for the usual Filipino way of sharing food (we order ravioli and were just 5 ravioli in the dish). You can't even think to eat just one dish or you'll leave the restaurant still hungry.
Atmosphere and service are good.

Because of my partner’s never ending quest to try new places to eat, we end up one Sunday evening at this italian resto tucked somewhere in San Juan near wilson st. A bit pricey but it make up for it’s ambiance, it’s quiant over all class and ofcourse, it’s food. We ordered combo of margherita and parma pizza, bricked oven cook! An aglio olio pasta with anchovies and subtle cheese and a buratta salad as a starter. They even gave us complimentary glass of chardonnay which was a really welcome accompaniment to our meal. Food is good. A bit subtle to my pinoy palate. But I think it works. All the meal compliment each other without overpowering. A must try to adventurous diners who would like to try a different take on their favorite italian dish.

I've been here many times and this maybe one of my favorite and best Italian restaurant in town. Very good and decent food specially pizza (must try), osso buco, vongole pasta and squid ink risotto. They have huge parking space, clean dining area, FREE and fast internet connection and friendly staff. But you have to reserve your seat as it is always full especially weekends. I tried their cafe next door and they also serve very good coffee and variety of breakfast menu as well. A good spot for business or casual meeting place.

The place was well furnished, simple but clean from parking spaces to the dining area and wash rooms. Food was decent. It was good but not great. Table was well appointed and staff well trained to make the fine dining experience worthwhile. Prices are quite high but not exorbitant.
