We went here several times already , we really love the food and the sushi and sashimi are always fresh. The only problem with this place is the parking is almost always none. There were instances that we had to park the car on the road side 😅 The food was delicious that’s why we keep coming back.

The restaurant is not inside the mall nor in the arcade. It's located along a not so busy street of San Juan City and yet customers purposely go there. There's enough parking space but it can be full on a real busy night. Food is very good, price just right. My Our family's personal favorites are the Wagyu tenderloin (we like ours medium well), grilled fresh oysters, chicken Karaage and their bestseller Tomo Samurai steak. You can also try their Bento meal for a more complete set of dining experience.

Tomo serves the usual favorite japanese cuisine , plus they have their specialties like the mushroom dish is so yummy. The service is good, but the parking is quite challenging.

This place is fantastic. It has an excellent menu with just about any Japanese food you can crave for. They fly in fresh ingredients from Japan so they also have a great selection of seafood. The waiters are always friendly and attentive. It is definitely our go-to place for Japanese food in the metro.

Food is great....with a fusion twist. Good price for the quality. Just wished it was a bigger place and bigger parking.

Go to japanese restaurant for cravings of salmon head teriyaki and maguro teppanyaki. The sushi is so flavorful. Ramen here is Ok but not exceptional. The ambience of the place is great. Better reserve to ensure seats, otherwise come in early or a bit late.

High quality japanese food! A bit pricey but all ingredients are very fresh and you can taste the difference. Just order the salmon sushi and you will see what Im talking about. Call to reserve as this place gets full fast.

We have always passed this place and noticed that many cars go in and out of the nameless place (except for some Japanese lanterns hanging from the fence and seemingly private property (except for its open gate. Curious, we tried the place and we were not disappointed. The food is great for Japanese food to a Filipino diner. The price is okay, ambience, okay for family.

We were glad to stop by this lovely restaurant. Their okra appetizer is simple yet one of a kind. You will not go wrong with their sashimini and sushi samplers. My children ordered their shoyu and tantanmen ramen and their soup base cam rival other ramen shops and could offer good value for money. Their gyoza is also tasty.

Tomo is located in a rather hidden portion of San Juan near Mandaluyong. The place is nice although the flight of stairs to the 2nd floor may be a challenge for senior citizens. The venue is fairly new with nice wood furniture. Sound levels are tolerable. We tried the unagi fried rice, tan tan mien, a sauteed oyster dish, uni and soft shell crab tempura, a salad , salmon teppan, fried squid as well as hiroshima okonomiyaki. Flavors and prices are at par with authentic Japanese restaurants in Quezon City. Service is quite good even at full house. You have to choose between 6 to 8 pm or 8 to 10 PM. If you're looking at a late dinner you can just go with 8 PM. If you arrive before that time they can sit you as soon as sitting is available.

The place is impressive - again an old house converted to a restaurant along the residential row in San Juan. I like the homey ambiance. I would say it is a bit on the fine dining side. Menu is quite formal but no pictures so you need to ask question. It is quite homey as the dining space is limited. Parking space the same thing so you need to arrive the place early to find your parking space. There are steps to deal with and the drive way is kinda steep. Food selection is plentiful but the serving size is meant strictly for 2 personsl A bit pricey though but good quality. I like their appetizer and I got to ask for more since the serving of the food was a bit slow as that time there are a few diners only. I love their wagyu cube on stick. It melts in your mouth. The sushi are fresh for sure and you want the imported one or the local one will do. We opted the local one and it taste good. Another food trip to TOMO is a must to try there other Japanese dishes.

I have visited the restaurant twice in 4 weeks, which is a first for me since the restaurant is a bit pricey but so worth it. Ever since I tried sashimi from the Tsukiji fish market, I have been a bit picky on the quality of sashimi I eat. Tomo has fresh sushi and sashimi and it always satisfies my craving.

Charming restaurant in a quiet residential area. We liked the sashimis, kari kari kari yaki oysters, tempura, fried rice, and hamachi. The steak with a barbecue sauce marinade was a disappointment. But we're certainly willing to go back and try the other dishes.

UNSAFE. NOT PWD FRIENDLY. My sister suggested we celebrate Grandparent’s Day dinner here with our mom and I readily agreed as the food here was always excellent, despite having to brave the commute from Makati. And today was no different - food was excellent. The environment was always fast paced and a bit chaotic which does not lend to relaxing meals. I didnt mind it today as i had an early day the next day and was happy to have an early night. Service, as usual, was very fast paced but friendly. It was the first time I brought my mom and we had to use the wheelchair ramps. I noticed the wheelchair ramps did not have handles, a fence, or barriers, and you can actually fall one storey down to the parking area. Actually, even the receiving area was not fenced and anyone a bit tipsy can fall one storey down. After our meal, On our way out to the driveway, a soapy waterfall was happening as their staff was hosing down the driveway. It was just 9:20 pm, not even closing time, and he was already hosing down the driveway. Probably in a hurry to get his chores done so he can leave earlier. I was very concerned as one wrong move, given the lack of fencing and barriers, the person pushing the wheelchair can slip and both can fall one storey down to the parking area. Actually, anybody walking thru it can slip. You dont have to be in a wheelchair. Another minor concern was my shoes. I was wearing velvet smoking slippers as it wasnt raining and i did not think that i needed to traverse soapy driveways in a nice japanese restaurant. Tomo’s lack of concern about the safety of their customers is a bit upsetting for me and this will probably be my last time here. The great food is not worth the worry and concern over safety. I hope the owners get to read this and seriously consider building proper fencing given the layout of their property. And also to train their staff that hosing down the floor, inside or outside, should only happen once there are no more customers as this is a safety issue. If the staff wants to go home early, they should not be working in a restaurant. So to wrap up my review—If all you care about is excellent food, and dont mind the possibility of falling or slipping to your death, or the possibility of ruining your shoes, then this restaurant should rate high in your books.
