I have to say that despite the fact that the hotel was operating on a skeleton crew, the service as well as the food remained excellent! The two ladies assisting us at the Lounge, Zachary and Rose, were very attentive and willing to be of service all the time during our while meal. I have to say that you don't see this very often anymore these days wherein the absence of a full crew has been a very easy excuse for shabby service and food. Keep it up!!!

Grand Hyatt is our favorite staycation hotel in Metro Manila. Which is why when they reopened after the ECQ was lifted, we immediately went there for breakfast.
While the breakfast buffet is closed, the choice of plates breakfast is sure to fill you up with a choice of savory or sweet breakfast items. I particularly enjoyed their Filipino breakfast. Tapa was my choice this morning, which was seasoned and cooked just right. The eggs were cooked runny, exactly according to our specifications.
Kudos to Kate and the rest of the Grand Hyatt Staff for making our day!

Went here for merienda cena and we really enjoyed the atmosphere, live music and especially the fun merienda food. Our server, Clarisse, was very knowledgeable about our questions regarding the food and drinks and was patient with all our requests. Looking forward to coming back here for some chill time with the family!

All items in the menu of The Grand Hyatt Manila's Merienda Cena were excellent! I celebrated my birrhday here in August with my family, we were 10 in the group. The staff gave me a free birthday cake, it was chocolate mousse, and the pianist played a birthday tune. Clarisse was particularly attentive, patient, well-dressed and ubiquituous. We all had a wonderful time. 😸

Here for my monthsary celeb. It was a fantastic experience!
I was worried about the amount of food that comes with the package so I ordered additional ones. When the food arrived, I was astonished about the serving size, quality, class of food selection.
Food waiters were really courteous and easy to talk to, despite the huge number of guests.
Definitely worth it! I’ll be back to celebrate more occasions.

Decided to go through with our merienda cena reservation despite the inclement weather -- a friend suggested we try it based on her positive reviews as well. Noticed that the selections, although not extensive, seemed carefully selected for high tea and the lounge's ambience was relaxed and friendly. Everything we tried, from the mini open sandwiches to the pastries, was really good and perfectly matched with either coffee or tea. My personal favorite were the beef salpicao and prawn cocktail sandwiches and the scones. Staff, particularly Clarisse and Rose, were attentive and friendly without being intrusive. We enjoyed our stay so much that we're already planning a Christmas get together with friends and quite possibly our usual annual Christmas dinner. All the best to this restaurant and the team!

On a rainy saturday ,nice to eat a light and healhy dinner by the lounge serenaded by a soothing and relaxing piano music. Definitely an experience worth indulging in.Kudos to their friendly team especially Rose. Must try strawberry cheesecake

It was my and my best friend’s joint birthday celebration. We thought of going to The Lounge and have a relaxing evening..catching up, de stressing and just enjoy the night. Rose, our assigned server surprised us with a birthday cake and the singer sang a happy birthday song for us! The crowd sang along. It was a happy evening indeed. ♥️

Went around 5pm. Fairly busy on a Saturday but was greeted and seated immediately. Personally, variety and the number of choices on the menu was a bit underwhelming. I ended up getting the current merienda cena (buffet style) and upgraded to free flowing rosè. In all fairness, every food item I tried on the buffet was tasted exquisite. I think I got three rounds/plates of open faced mini sandwhiches. The scones were perfect! Not too buttery at all! The buffet ends at 6pm so by the time I got to my cakes, I regret not being able to get another round! But my favorite was the Salmon Escabeche ❤️
Overall, price was worth it for the food quality, ambiance and comfort. Live music was nice too until they had to go. For quite awhile, before the new set of live performers came, the noise became more apparent. Either way, worth it 😊
Would definitely come back for the food, attentiveness of the staff and music just to chill alone or with someone.

It was indeed a merry-ienda Cena with friends at the Lounge of Grand Hyatt hotel. The ambiance is a perfect setting to enjoy good food and funny stories with friends. From the open-faced sandwich, mini cakes and the savory dishes everything is worth every penny.

What an awesome experience dining at The Lounge (Grand Hyatt BGC)! All of their staff are very kind, accommodating, and friendly. First time experince was our free breakfast tray, for 2 adults (not a buffet since it's pandemic). All good about the food. The food for 2 adults were even enough for us including my 9 year-old nephew. When we were eating, we had Ms. Michelle and Ms. Ivy talking to my nephew, they even discussed about the meatless burger so my nephew has decided that we had to come back for lunch. Not sure about the taste of that meatless burger because my nephew ate it all, so for sure it was great! I had a medium well steak, and I loved it. Thank you to the very generous staff (Ms. Michelle, Ms. Ivy, Ms. April, and the rest of their team) for the surprise birthday cake and for singing the Happy Birthday song for my nephew. We will definitely come back. 😊 All the best and God bless you all!

Kudos and two thumbs up to Rose and Alqueen for their great customer service and for making our family feel at home. Rose took time to tell us the details of the Afternoon Tea while Rose and Alqueen attended to our needs cheerfully and efficiently. Their warm service actually made us coming back for more. The food and drinks were excellent and of good quality! The cakes especially the cheesecake and florentine cake were moist and soft; the cookies and savory toasts were equally great! Keep it up!

The waitress and waiters are greatly attentive and would give you service at a moment's notice, although a slight hiccups here and there. The chef makes the bananacake very tasty, also offered me if I want the syrup or not. Overall, it's a great experience

We had best experience here at grand Hyatt lounge. We’re family of three and stayed at overnight at Grand Hyatt to celebrate my birthday. We tried the Merienda Cena, only limited selection of sandwich, quiche and seafood cocktail but we had a great time, we stayed 2 hours and wanting to stay longer, ambiance is the best with great music. Ms Lyka has this very accommodating smile and personality, she suggested to upgrade to free flowing Rosè wine, which I enjoyed a lot. Thank you for welcoming and extending your assistance.

The food selection is limited however, each one is so good that you will come back for seconds. The tea selection (I had my favorite peppermint) is also good and always served hot. But what makes this special is the service by all the staff while we were there. We would definitely come back here bringing more friends with us.
