Really good, homemade-like (I'm italian), reasonably priced pasta that you can eat wherever you want. Extremely good. (Strabuono davvero, continuate così, vi aspettiamo se mai doveste aprire a Castelfranco Veneto)

On our last night in Venice, we wanted to try something local and found this little restaurant right around the corner from where we were staying. The pasta was cheap, home-made, quick and most importantly, tasty. It was that good that we ordered a 2nd serving while we were there, so we ended up eating 2 bowls each. There are... More

Nice little restaurant for local food. The pasta and sauce were very tasty. With a bit of chili on top, it came out an amazing flavour. Resealable price compared to most places in Venice. Highly recommend!!!

...are something like spaghetti. You can have them freshly made here with a choice of different sauces. It's Street food (no place to sit) but well worth a visit. Honest price for good quality.

We stumbled upon this small takeaway place and decided to give it a go. Wow, so glad we did. The pasta is cooked to order and hot sauce added afterwards. We tried bolognese, pesto and tomato sauces; all were tasty and even enjoyed by a fussy 12 year old. There is only one type of pasta available so you only... More

Really liked our duck and seafood pasta! Paid 5 eur each, it was quick and fresh, staff working there friendly and helpful. Overall, great experience.

My family stopped by this place at the recommendation of Trip Advisor. It was perfect! Standing room only, with only one thing on the menu: homemade pasta with a handful of sauce options. We ordered four different sauces and loved them all. The price was perfect, too, especially for Venice!

I would not mind eating my every meal in Venice here, if my family weren't with me! For only €5, Bigoi's generous portion of "pasta fresca" (fresh pasta) is especially undeniable, especially in the city where most restaurants charge a per-person cover charge and mandatory service fee. Plus, you will get your hot cooked pasta within a minute - Truly... More

Stumbled on this place by accident and was so glad. To be honest we were not really hungry but the smell and queues of people tempted us. Fish is so so good. Many were going back for more. Tasty hot snack on a cold February day - lovely memory of our trip

It's cheap and quick. Not the real authentic Italian way, Italians don't eat this way. Pasta is also not the popular cuisine in Venice, it's seafood. They make the pasta dish infornt of you, it's a big generous portion. Reasonable prices for budget travellers. You can ask for extra cheese if you like. Flavours are nicely balanced. Good customer service.... More

Staying in Dorsoduro / Accademia

Neighborhood Profile
Dorsoduro / Accademia
Artsy is the defining mood of this neighborhood with street artists, students, painters, sculptors, restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica buttresses the neighborhood to the east. Gondolas bob in the morning light. The Accademia Bridge crosses the Grand Canal. A back street doubles as basketball court. Palaces house residents, or like Ca' Foscari a university, or a museum like Ca’ Rezzonico that attracts Venetians for concerts. Dorsoduro reveals its industrial roots too, in buildings converted to house university departments or exhibitions. Campo Santa Margherita bursts with youthful energy from local students. Foot traffic bustles to and from Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia train station. Evening commuters pause for an aperitivo. Neighbors exchange confidants in a campo (square) on their way to market.
