So on a whimsical road trip, decided to make a pit stop at a bulaluhan. When in Batangas, do as the Batangueños. Well, this place is overpriced considering it’s semi-counter service. My bulalo was huge but it did not have the marrow. When I asked...the server, you have to request for it. “Puede papalitan nyo”. 🤢 Pros - they have parking and it’s cool inside. Nothing saved it from a below average rating really.More

Our every trip going to "Bicol" or any Southern area, this restaurant must stop by ours, great foods like the bulalo, grilled tuna and the best fried chicken.

On our way to manila, we stopped at this very popular restaurant. The food was very good especially the bulalo. We also ordered sago with gulaman. To our amaze and surprise they have inserted the plastic straw in the drink. My sister in law, looked...into her straw which look dark inside. We couldn't believe there was a small cockroach alive !!!!!. I am not sure if they re use these straws . These should be individually wrapped. I like their food but it makes me give it a 2nd thought to ever visit them again.More

The bulalo is acceptable, but nothing there is very special, especially not for the price, would not recommend. Service was so-so, although food does come fast (but not especially hot). Salmon was fishy and overcooked, other dishes bland. Ambiance is non-existent, just a big cafeteria...style room. Beer not available although on menu. Underwhelming and over-priced.More

After a long and tiring day we went to Rose and Grace Restaurant to try their Bulalo and some other dishes, the food is delicious but a little bit pricey but since we went there on payday so its ok to spend.

If you're craving for bulalo, this is the no-brainer choice. They still serve the same bowl of bulalo ever since I can remember. Bulalo served in a huge, heavy bowl, with the tasty broth and a huge shank of beef - with all the litids...that we love so much! One serving is good for three so it's not really that pricey. Service is fast and efficient. And they have also a wide array of other Pinoy dishes to choose from - cafeteria type. Rose and Grace is the stop over of most travellers making their way to Tagaytay and other points in Batangas and beyond. It's not a wonder that this resto also stocks up on pasalubongs - goodies from nearby provinces like the super yummy buko pie from Laguna, kakanins (rice cakes) from Rizal, etc. Definitely worth your while to try.More

A place that has been expanded through the years. The dishes are all the same, mouth watering. Bulalo, the specialty should be a mush have. Friendly staff at reasonable prices.

Im a local and been bringing friends over as their trip to sto tomas is incomplete without having a taste of our local bulalo. Over the years bulalo has somehow changed. Its pricey as u can find other local bulalos that taste better if not...at par with them. Still good to tryMore

The founder and the owner is Conchita Ascano. :) She's a very hands on business owner and is still very integral to restaurant operations everyday.
