It’s a quiet place in a residential area in San Juan. The restaurant has a merchandise section with knickknacks, puzzles, games, lamps and gift items for sale. They have breakfast but their mains are pastas and sandwiches. We tried the Diablo with shrimps and it was spicy as advertised. The shrimp quesadilla was also good. I saw some good desserts but didn’t order any anymore as that would really be sinful. If you want good food and a quiet ambience come to Coop Manila in San Juan.

If you enjoy quiet times with good food, this is a place for you. You can get there by car, taxi or grab, it is a bit hidden and public transpo is not available. We have been there twice and we enjoyed dining there everytime.

Co/op is tucked right outside the restaurants hub of San Juan. Located along Mabini St. (right after PUP-San Juan), it is near Wilson st and Greenhills. It has a simple, straighforward, nicely prepared menu. Some soups, salads, pasta, sandwiches and a few rice meals...and coffee of course. I always order the BBQ ranch salad—greens with corn, beans, chicken with bbq sauce dressing and topped with crunchy onion rings. You’ve got to try their classic cheese sandwich. Melted cheeses in between thick, toasted bread and a suprising side of kamote fries. This place is ideal for meetings—business or personal and also for working or studying. The restaurant shares its soace with a quirky store selling quirky stuff like—bags, notebooks, paintings, sculptures, etc.

The overall experience is good but the service could be better. The meals are expensive but understandable. But their cakes are to die for. The ambiance, I'll give it a thumbs up. Not only that you can hang-out and dine here, you can also buy quirky and hipster-ish stuff for you and your friends.

This used to be an old house which got a major facelift. The building is very modern with glass for its main facade. It's like a crafts store which serves coffee and snacks. A bit on the expensive side.
