I had a cappuccino with a perfectly frothy top and a warm almond croissant that was buttery and flaky. My friend enjoyed a matcha latte and a slice of rich chocolate cake.

The food was great. Ambiance is good. Price is just right. I will come back if my child is old enough to stop running in the whole dining area.

Worth the detour on the way to Las Casas Filipinas. The ramen was delicious especially my wife's seafood ramen. It had two small whole crabs on it. When I told our waitress that it was my bday, she served us their fried ice cream. What a treat eating here. My daughter loves ramen and she approved the complex flavor in theirs.

As a Ramen lover, my partner and I searched for this overrated restaurant after a good hike in Mt. Samat (expect that we're tired and want something to soothe our hungry bellies). We decided to order their Tonkatsu Ramen which doesn't have a half serving so we got 2 whole order that cost 380php each. We also ordered maki (Forgot the exact name, was it "Temaki?"). Expect that these rolls aren't bite size at all and you have to slice it using a knife as the nori wrapper stubbornly acts like a rubber that you can't cut by barely using your teeth. Moving on, my partner also ordered their house blend tea which they didn't bother to put some ice on that felt like almost the same as a luke warm water in my taste buds. This glass of tea I'm talking about cost 95php. So I bet ya, just be contented with the service water. lol
To highlight this rating, their Ramen doesn't taste good. It lacks flavor and the quality of noodle used is the same as the "Mami na nabibili sa kanto". Our overall bill? Almost 1600php. Not worth it.

If you are craving for Japanese foods in Bataan, be sure to check out Café Kyoto. Although I wouldn't recommend the sushi for they were still frozen when they served it, but I would definitely recommend you to try the bento and cold ramen coz' they were really delicious.

Very nice place. Comfy. Located in the heart of balanga city. Parking is convenient at the ground floor of the mall. Quality food. Attentive service. I am satisfied.

Two different Ramen, two different noodles. All good. All served same time, all temperature hot. Cooked to order so it took maybe 15 mins or so, as advised by courteous server. I'd go back and happy to recommend.

Alert, the map location on Tripadvisor (in February 2017) is really wrong. The real location is the third floor of the Plaza Hotel, not the strange location that shows up on the map.
Based on visits to Japan I'd say that this is an authentic Japanese place with a nice selection. It's more than just sushi. I had the gyoza and ramen. Both were really good.

We stayed in The Plaza Hotel so it would be ridiculous for us not to try this out. We had dinner here- their kani and tobiko salad is super amazing! Generous serving of kani and fish roe with cucumber and cabbage and carrots. Tasted really fresh.
Also had the mixed tempura bento. The shrimps were ginormous and plump, not just filled with breading. My brother had the tonkotsu bento. The pork was a little bit too tough for my taste but he enjoyed it very much.
My only complaint about their service is that there seems to be a lack of personnel as I found myself looking around several times trying to look for the servers/staff, especially when it was time for us to get the bill.
Otherwise, authentic Japanese in Balanga!

Loved the suhi platter although it is a bit pricey. Loved also their curry but not as much as the platter.

The chef is Japanese so the food is authentic and with high quality. He is half day off on Wednesdays and Thursdays according to the waitress so there are certain food in the menu that is not available when he is not there. However the steak was not cooked properly and is quite tough. We have ordered it twice and both times failed. The sushi, salads, sashimi and ramen are good though. The place is elegant and comfortable with a good view of the plaza and church. A good place to dine in when in Balanga.
