Ordered family style salmon belly sinigang sa miso, beef kaldereta, beef croquettes for lunch on our way back to Manila from a weekend in Anilao, Batangas.
Salmon belly sinigang and a rich thick broth, but had about tiny fish pieces. Expensive for a dish that cost 550.
Kaldereta was a real treat but very expensive considering this was the province.
The beef croquette was mashed potatoes with bits of ground beef fried in oil that was not hot enough resulting in a flavorless oily mess - avoid.
Our bill came up to about 450 a head. Very expensive for a provincial restaurant.
If you do eat here, save your money and order individual portions of the same dish which comes with rice and side vegetables.
Toilet was dirty and did not have toilet paper at the time of visit.

This restaurant closed sometime before Christmas. I can understand why. The food isn't really that good and pricey at that. I have been here several times coz this is really just a few steps from home and there's no traffic that way. Traffic in our little town of Bauan is horrendous!

We dined at Pascua's by chance. After navigating through traffic, we were tired, restless and hungry. Pascua's did not disappoint. I ordered pesto for myself, and they cooked it the way I liked it, just perfect. We also ordered tapsilog and callos, which, like the pesto, were both delicious.
A must try...their very refreshing iced tea and nutella banana brownie.
We will definitely come back and try their other dishes.
