About
Whitfords Brewing Company by Beerland (WBC) is located in Westfield Whitford City’s new Dining & Entertainment Hub. WBC is the only fully operational brewery between Northbridge and Mindarie, producing a core range of Beerland Beer onsite including small batch seasonal brews. Featuring similar stylings to sister venue and flagship brewpub, Northbridge Brewing Company, WBC was designed with the local community in mind split over two levels including a rooftop Skydeck with its views of the Indian Ocean, an outdoor beer garden with alfresco dining, a balcony with plenty of seating overlooking Whitfords Avenue, and an entire shopping complex right at your doorstep. We stock our fridges with a wide range of local and international beers, wine, spirits and cocktails and we seek to provide the freshest produce including premium steak cuts, crayfish in addition to our pub classics with a twist.

Tuesday night my son took me out for Father’s Day, he was working Sunday.
We booked a table in the afternoon for the evening.
The pub is done with a industrial theme, plenty of distance between the tables very good feeling about the place.
The staff are friendly and helpful we asked the barman Jack about the reservation he explained how to order our meals and drinks at the bar very helpful and happy man.
We both order steaks one eye fillet & scotch with pork belly bites. We’re we’re both satisfied with the quality and size of our meals. The waitress was friendly and asked when we were finished about the meals showing that the chefs care
we enjoyed our meals.
The pale ale beer was really good too.
Definitely worth going to the Whitfords Brewing company for a night out !,!

A good reliable place to visit for lunch with friends. Most days there's a very good value special for food. Heaps of beers on offer. Last time I visited, I had to send my salad back to the kitchen twice because wasn't served with items described on the menu. A bit comical but I guess the product of an under the pump kitchen. The staff were apologetic about this.

Friendly and helpful staff even 'almost' giving the recipe for their special home made Chilli Lime sauce which was a highlight. Visited for weekday lunch so was quiet and no loud music. We'd been warned how noisy it can get. Food was exceptional as we ordered several share plates. Popcorn chicken the best in town as was the squid and its special sauce. Will definitely return for more.

Had dinner here for the first time tonight. As a fussy vegan I don't like things cooked on the same grill / fryer as meat products. When questioning the staff about this, they checked with the kitchen and the kitchen was able to adapt ( cooking my protein in a separate pan rather than in the shared fryer ) and took care to substitute things ( baked potatoes for chips ) to keep it vegan. The meals we had were generous, well presented and very tasty and came out in a timely manner. The staff were friendly and helpful and would certainly come back here to eat again.

Admittedly a busy bar is not the best place for an evening dinner so maybe we should take part of the blame for our high expectations of this establishment.
First off, the range of beers is very good and the bar staff are quite efficient, the large bar area was full and the noise levels high. There were four of us at our table and conversation was difficult but we were there now so we tried to make the best of it. Beers, wines and food ordered but were kept waiting for over an hour for our food.
We had ordered a half kg of fried chicken wings to share and for our mains we had the Lime and Chilli Squid ($19.50, Aioli, togarashi, pickled cucumber, lemon). The Crispy Fish Tacos x2 = 4 Tacos, ($30), The Moroccan Chicken Salad ($25.50) and the Southern Fried Chicken Burger ($27, with Buttermilk fried chicken, bacon, American,cheese, pickled jalapeños, kale slaw, tomato, chipotle mayo, brioche.)
The chicken wings and tacos were reasonably good as was the Lime and Chilli Squid (a bit soggy though) but the chicken in the Moroccan Chicken Salad was almost non existent with the bulk of the dish being made up of "greens". I had the Fried Chicken Burger and from the price I was expecting something special but it was a very ordinary burger, I have had much better at KFC at a third of the price.
I don't think we will be back, except for a beer or two, the food service was slow , the noise levels high and the food very ordinary.

We had lunch here yesterday. The service at the bar was friendly and attentive. We waited quite a while for the food, the staff were really approachable when we mentioned it had been a while.
We shared two dishes. Chicken skewer and prawn with chorizo pizza. The chicken dish was ok but very small in size for $28. The ‘free pint’ it came with perhaps accounted for this. One skewer with about 3 small pieces of fairly low quality and overcooked chicken. In the side was salad and corn.
The prawn pizza tasted so bad that I sent it back. The whole pizza tasted of seawater and I suspected the prawns had gone bad. They did change the dish for a margarita pizza which was pretty average. Quite doughy and too much cheese.
Overall a pretty average experience. There are much better food options around.

Visited on 06/07/2021. Front of house staff were all fantastic and adhering to covid restriction rules. Unfortunately there was quite a long wait for the food we'd ordered, and as we were sitting facing the kitchen it was really hard not to notice the kitchen staff all wearing their masks pulled down under their chins. It really put me off my food and made me wonder about the food handling practices if they can't even wear masks correctly. Would definitely pop in for a drink, but wouldn't order food again.

Thanks for your feedback Emma. We have spoken to the team to ensure this doesn't happen again should we have to go back to wearing masks. Please know 98% of the year the kitchen don't wear masks and our kitchen hyenine has always been exceptional. Hope to see you again for drinks and some food down the track.

We have been here a few times and I can't fault the pub-style food - have had the steak, caeser salad, pizza - all tasty and served quickly. Gets busy from happy hour onwards and a stream of families filter in on week nights for some decent specials. Two for one on Weds ( certain meals ).

Special $2 oyster event on a Sunday avo. It was great. The shucker was friendly and on his game with plenty of dressings to suit different tastes. Not often you get $2 oysters in Perth.
We had 3 dozen because we could 😬.
The live music was wonderful but just 1-2 notches too loud as we had to shout to each other and everyone else was leaning over to hear other people talk. Sunday avo it’s better as a background music rather than trying to be a main concert.
This “event” was obviously popular as the main bar was empty at 5pm yet the upstairs was full noise.
We tried to order other food off the menu but were told we couldn’t as we were in a “private event” and all we could order were oysters and the share board. No huge deal but we were hungry for a lot more so we went elsewhere.
Certainly happy to attend more promotions like this one.

Decent enough meal for family of four. The 9 and 11 year olds loved the lamb ragout and the baby back ribs; bao buns were fresh. Disappointed though paying $40 for overcooked and dried out grilled snapper.

Had the Southern Fried Chicken Burger, Beerland Parmy and the Roasted Beetroot and Pumpkin Salad. The burger had a quite unique taste for a chicken burger and was quite the enjoyable change of pace. The latter two were also greatly enjoyed. Parmigiana is rated quite highly.

Advertised on social media a special on oysters . We came an hour into the 3 hr weekly special and there is no more oysters left!!! False advertising?
Had a sirloin steak , half of it was inedible fat. Asian pork belly salad had clumps of pickled ginger, which made the sourness overwhelming.

Food was very nice and fresh, portion size was very good. Staff were friendly and the service was good. You can sit either inside or outside. I would recommend asking for a sample taste of the beer before buying as the tiger beer didn't taste very nice

I celebrated my 40th birthday party here on Saturday afternoon and had an amazing time! The staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was absolutely delicious and there was plenty for everyone. We had an area sectioned off upstairs which was perfect for our party. All in all, I would definitely book another event here - thank you for making my birthday so special! :)

Went for the happy hour and the bargain steak night on a Thursday. Lovely beer and food. Would have given 5 stars but as I was leaving went to the toilet and a member of staff with dark hair and a pony (ish) tail (male) didn’t wash his hands on way out. Felt gross if that’s the level of hygiene, which I’m sure it isn’t.
