My wife and I recently had dinner at Morton’s. The restaurant was almost full and very lively on a dreary Monday night. My wife asked for a quieter table and our waitress quickly made that happen. She was outstanding. Professional and friendly, she highlighted all...More

The food was absolutely delicious! The service was superb. I wouldn't recommend the balsamic glaze on the asparagus but the steak was well cooked and seasoned. The server was kind enough to split appetizers for us so we didn't have to order two of each...More

Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its
most stylish high-rise residences and heritage
buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden
arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel
from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of
the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools,
jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill
Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and

I had the same issue once, but re-read the agreement which states: "Membership card does not need to be presented to earn points or redeem rewards. In lieu of the membership card, members may provide the phone number identified in their account registration to earn points at the time of purchase. If Rewards are being redeemed, member will also be required to show valid ID. Only the member to whom the membership card is issued may earn points or redeem Rewards. The member must be paying for the food and beverage to earn points. Membership cards are issued to individuals only, not businesses or other entities or groups. Club points are not redeemable for cash and are non-transferable." Most recently, it happened at a Lettuce Entertain You restaurant (Joe's Stone Crab) that has a similar program. The manager explained that anyone could amass tons of rewards just by telling friends to 'use their card'. Their intent is to get people to sign up themselves, not load up individual cards. And they further explained it's for my protection too since anyone that knows my phone number could say "look up my rewards" and I'd be out that money. Someone was just recently fired from the location I visited because of this policy, so it shows how serious all these companies are (not just Landry's). Apparently the server inadvertently added all the rewards to the check, even though the diners paid by 'credit card roulette'. This is where the server picks a card from under a napkin to see who gets to pay the bill. It's like any user agreement, there are rules. Don't make a server or manager lose their livelihood just because you don't want to abide by them.
