Still Awesome!

I thought I should update my review to say that I still find Tangerine makes the best pizza of anywhere I travel to. This time I tried their Tangerine signature pizza and it was delicious with lots of cheese and strips of bacon along with the fresh vegetables. I also received the soup this time and it deserves its own review - it was that good 5* The service was very fast and extremely friendly - it makes you feel good when a business really appreciates their customers. I will continue to order from here in the future and highly recommend them!

Well worth finding!

I needed help from Google maps to find this place but it was well worth the effort. I had the Hawiian pizza and loved it. Thickly topped with cheese, pineapple, meat, and what I am guessing is delicious home made tomato sauce. The crust was a pleasure by itself, not just a holder for the ingredients. I often leave the outer crust, bu it was too good to waste. You are supposed to phone ahead for pickup, but they were happy to take my order in person (with masks and proper distancing) and bring it, hot and smelling awesome, to my car window. Family pride in their food beats franchise pizza hands down!

Dense, crust bursting with sauce, great cheese

Medium veggie, 2 cans of pop, two small containers of dipping sauce, 28$ all in. Three slices and I was full and I normally eat excessively in one sitting. Well-deserved rating. I had to take half of the box home on the bike with one can in my pocket. Makes a great breakfast the next day! :D

An awesome spot for a dinner with Family

A very nice and peaceful atmosphere, not too busy for dine-in but they certainly get lots of business for take-out. The owners are very friendly and social, happy to accommodate you in any way or listen to your stories. They grow fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables that they use in their dishes. Had their Fish & Chips, which came with a drink and soup, or macaroni salad, and it was all on par with some full-service restaurants I’ve been to downtown. Best Lentil Soup I’ve ever tried, and I’m a picky eater!

I heard this place was really nice and it has really proven how amazing the cooking was. I hate the best pizza I have ever eaten. Very tasty and nice. The owners are really friendly and welcoming

I love pizza. All types of pizza. I can find enjoyment in any variety of pie you can throw at me. I believe this makes me a superior reviewer on this matter. I will not bash, only elevate those who stand out. This pizza is special. I suggest you pick one up as soon as you can. Share it with other pizza lovers. It's a beauty (flavor and looks)

Exceptional food, outstanding service

We were a group of 7 with 5 cranky and hungry teenagers eating a bit late on a Fri evening. We ordered the xlarge pepperoni pizza, a small donair and veggie pizza, zucchini sticks, poutine and wings. They threw in pops for everyone, a very tasty macaroni salad and soup for any one wanting one. You can tell that great care and experience went into everything made. The soup was hearty and homemade tasty - noticibly void of canned goods. I wanted another bowl but other food was coming. The large poutine was argued over and gone without the adults getting any. Clearly it was fantastic. The garlic wings were great with garden fresh cut veggies on the side. Both the donair and veggie pizza were very tasty and the pizza crust was both well prepared, anticipating to look at and cooked all the way to the center -no sloppy middle. They were a perfect individual pizza size, and, by this point, too much to finish. The xlarge pepperoni pizza was HUGE. I mean, I cannot recall seeing this size in an xlarge in a very long time. All the pizzas were loaded with the fabulous stringy cheese stretch giving way to the repeated slices being devoured. It was all just so good, and frankly, we felt quite relieved to finally find a place that could walk the talk and not just slap stuff together. There was only one long table to sit at - about18-20 seets, which was perfect for us. The atmosphere is homey, the decore is filled with plants waiting to see the spring sun again and I can imagine it being quite busy in the summer months. The bathroom could use a bit of attention though - perhaps a fresh coat of paint would do. The place is located between homes so parking is quite limited, but the delivery drivers were busy buzzing back and forth so I surmise most order out and to pick up. We will definitely be back as we live way too far away for delivery. Easy to order, full menu of items with lots of options for specific choices, the prices are darn reasonable given the quality and skill going into the food and service too.

Best pizza & service in town

this is easily one the best pizza pots in town & the people who own it treat all their customers like family. The main cook puts so much effort into your pizza & trust me you can taste it right away . also every pizza has stuffed crust & comes with there homemade garlic sauce . 5 stars easy I highly recommend trying at least once

Beyond my expectations

I just enjoyed possibly the best pizza I have ever had. The thick crust was light and airy and even had cheese stuffed in it. I had the Hawaiian Plus delivered. The toppings were generous and the garlic dip was homemade and rich with lots of garlic. I travel to Ottawa frequently and will definitely be working my way through the menu! The delivery man seemed to also be the owner of this family business? He was very kind and encouraged me to order by phone from them next time instead of online. I will be happy to do this as there will be a next time!

Home grown veggies!!!!

Went there to grab a pizza and wings for the boxing fight and the family that owns it are super nice and actually appreciate your business. All the veggies in restaurant are home grown and you can taste the quality! You can taste the bacon strips. Really recommend putting veggies on the pizza! Would definitely pick up again from there.

Five Stars? Yes!!

Don’t give out many 5 stars, and particularly for pizza. But this little mom and pop operation in the middle of a residential street got my attention from other reviewers. While slightly more expensive the quality, variety, and quantity of the ingredients set it apart from other pizza places I visited. Two things make a pizza a winner for me: the crust and the sauce. And in these two categories they excel. In fact next time I’m in the area I’m going to simply order a cheese pizza.
