We went with friends for dinner as we were seeking a pleasant Lebanese style restaurant with nice oriental songs... our experience was terrible. The music was so loud. We couldn’t talk or hear each other at all. Even when the singer started, we could barely...hear his voice. Usually good voice singer would not accept to cover their voice with such loud music. The singer is a “C” class. The belly dancer was OK. Food quality is below normal. Shisha was excellent. We ordered Arak drinks ( Lebanese Ouzo ) and it tasted like water. After some arguments with the waiter he replaced the drinks with sec shots. Over and above it is overpriced & does not deserve to ask for such high prices. For 4 people dinner of 4-6 small plates of mezza & one plate of mixed grilled chicken pieces & Kefta ) with 2 shisha ($30 each) & 2 Arak drinks ($7.5 each ) the total bill was $360. They include compulsory gratuities $ 42. It was an unpleasant experience. I am ready to pay this amount for better food, higher quality program and better service, but this place is awful. I am not going there again and surely I do not recommend it.More

We were staying nearby and didn't want to go far, but also didn't want to eat fast food. We went right at the start of dinner, so we had the place to ourselves. The server was very kind and we enjoyed most of our meal....I would suggest sticking with the traditional food since that is their specialty. Our son had a burger and it was seasoned with something that gave it a weird taste, but the middle eastern cuisine was quite good and the portions were also reasonable for the price of the items.More

We were staying at a nearby hotel and one of the staff told us about Ambrosia, saying the food there was excellent. We decided to give it a go....so glad we did! I had a vegetarian platter which contained baba ganoush, hummus, stuffed grape leaves,...pickles, falafels. My husband had a mixed platter that contained kibbee, skewered chicken and skewered beef. His platter also had pickles, some homecut fries, ketchup & this amazing garlic sauce. We were also provided with a basket of freshly made, still hot, pita bread. We opted to add in some tabouli as well. We devoured it all, every last morsel. Some of the best Middle Eastern food we have had - very authentic and delicious. We have traveled in the Middle East and this food just took us back to some of the meals we had in Syria. Our server was excellent and made us smile. And that garlic sauce? Oh my....heaven. So strong, spicy and just delicious. Good thing we were both eating it! The hotel we were staying at is just so-so but I would stay there again just so I can go eat at Ambrosia!More

Was there for a friends gathering. Meza was good but the food was just ok. Nothing special. Music was way too loud that you can't talk to other people when the music is on.
