About
We are a mindful independently owned cafe in the heart of downtown Barrie with a focus on fresh and conscious eating. Open seven days a week we offer a breakfast and lunch menu that strongly emphasizes vegetarian and gluten free options along with locally raised meats & free range eggs. Everything is made in house including our sandwich bread which is a whole wheat focaccia & our soups which are always made gluten free. The Lazy Tulip vibe is worldly, spiritual & funky. We are proud to serve Planet Bean coffee, a small micro-roaster from Guelph along with Pluck tea.

Finally got out here for a "coffee" with a friend. Had the "french toast" which was more like a divine banana bread. Super cute place, great service and busy!

Some reviews for this place are really quite exuberantly glowing. I am never in Barrie. Maybe there's not much to choose from. Lunch was definitely good: a nice little grilled chicken and Brie sandwich. I enjoyed it. The server was pleasant. It was good, but...More

Homemade items will be found here. Service is friendly, and patient! Their soups are nourishing and very tasty! Their prices are reasonable. Parking in downtown Barrie could be a problem. This place is cosy!
