We found this spot quite by accident! We went into the unassuming Restaurant, and sat down... We ordered their Famous "JA GIUNG MIAN" dish, which is a combo of Big Noodles, Shredded Cucumber and Shredded Pork, Seasoned with Peking Duck Sauce... Delicious...Plus Salt and Pepper Fish, and the special of the day Braised Beef w. Rice, and Steamed Dumplings...
The meal was filling.... VERY good and super flavourful! The Server was pleasant, and the Food arrived quickly! We used to live in Richmond BC, where there are over 800 Asian Restaurants... We are used to traditional Asian Cuisine... NOT Canadianized Asian, which falls short... We go to "Taste of the East" whenever we are in town!

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Had spotted the restaurant as we drove by and love to eat Chinese. Became a little hesitant as we came to the door and the small restaurant was nearly empty and not so cosy.
We decided to go for it anyway and afterwards we were happy that we did.
Quick service, good food and reasonable prices. Two tables with Chinese guest and only Chinese staff made it feel as if you where somewhere other than Halifax.
Recommend the dumplings, huge and delicious for only two dollars a piece.
