Skip the dishes

We moved to Winnipeg from the states and our first meal during quarantine was CBH. Skip the dishes delivered and everything was amazing. Food was carefully prepared and sealed to ease our minds during COVID. Highly recommend!

Great patio with small lake (and geese) on view.

I had passed by this place many times in the past few years because I'm not a beer drinker. I had noticed a large patio with views of a little lake, so thought 'Why not?' It was a pleasant surprise. The menu was much more extensive than I had expected, and included an excellent donair which came with soup (or chips). I had the onion soup, which was unlike other onion soups I have had, but was definitely tasty. My wife had a satisfactory vegetable soup and a large salad. As she makes very good soups from scratch, here "OK" was a big recommendation. The only problem was her soup came before her salad, and my combination came later. But the view was god, as was the food and the company. I'd go again - soon.

Great small group experience!

Hosted a 65th Birthday party at the Canadian Brewhouse with about 24 friends and it was excellent! They put us in one of their upper levels and gave the whole area to ourselves. The service was fantastic - fast, efficient and fairly accurate. The food was good. I had the Tuna Poke Bowl and it was delicious. They were very accommodating. Even though they allowed us to bring in our own cake they had no issue supplying the plates, napkins and forks. I would definitely recommend this place and would go back again.

2nd and last visit

After our last visit and review in Aug 2019, we emailed the store as requested. I never got a reply. I got the Birthday Nachos email and we decided to give this place another try. Service: Terribly slow for our table and the ones next to us. Food: Nachos were okay. We added chicken to the free nachos for about $5. Traditional wings tasted stale and poorly cooked. BIG disappointment considering this was wing night. Beverages: Draft beer was surprisingly cold and good (the only positive). Mixed drinks and beers were overpriced. The value, service and food quality continue to be problematic for this location.

Awful service

Reservation made ahead of time and get there to find out there was some miscommunication amongst the workers, that they tried to portray as an issue we created. Server had the worst attitude. Three cutlery on the table while talking to another table, seemed bothered when asked for something as simple as water and had no interest in tending to our table period. Worst and most confusing experience and interaction with a server. Does not make me want to go back again. Food was not worth the unpleasant attitude and blatant disregard to extend the courtesy involved in their job.

Birthday brunch

Like to try new places out for Brunch. 5 of us go out for brunch for all of our birthdays. Birthday girl arrived first (my sister) and was asked if she was sure it was the right place because “not many people come here for breakfast.” I arrived shortly after. The restaurant was empty. Just 2 other people were there. Ordered coffee. It was horrible. A few minutes later the rest of the group arrived. We all ordered. One of my other sisters had to send her waffles back as they were cold and hard. My meal was well presented and was ok. I ordered the chicken and waffles. Nothing great. Would I go back? Probably not. The food is ok. The service people are not really friendly.

Went on a friday for the Prime Rib special. I have had it here before and was very pleased. This time not so great, my friend and I each ordered the 8 ounce prime rib dinner, Both our cuts were 50% fat and grisel, the cut itself was very thin perhaps 1/4 inch thick. One small portion of potatoe each, I left hungry, my dogs enjoyed the fat and grisel more than I enjoyed my meal. I will give them another try but maybe I should ask for a lean thick cut.Or hope for a better cook.

Great Place for Takeout

Ordered some food for pickup and it was great, didn't have to wait at all. The staff were friendly and polite, and my food was still nice and warm by the time we got home. My wife really enjoyed her fish and chips and I loved the Beef Dip!

Good sports bar food

Great sports bar atmosphere with tons of TVs showing different games. Food was good and on par with most sports bar menus-- chicken strips and fries, hamburgers, sandwiches, etc with some unique items that you don't usually see. Service was good although got a little sparse at the end of the meal. Overally very enjoyable.

Noisy and dark inside.

Service by Danika was pleasant. The noise level (music) was a bit too loud. Hard to talk to people during lunch. Food was decent but was a long time coming. Very slow. The power bowl was tasty. Steak bites and beef dip were good. Quesadillas were okay but they had run out of salsa. Go figure how that would happen.

Great customer service

After a very disappointing meal from brewhouse, witch I order through skip the dishes. Brewhouse contacted me to try and make things right. Spoke to Kyla and she was very easy to deal with and definitely made up for the disappointing meal.

Liked it so much we went twice!

We really enjoyed the food at Canadian Brewhouse. The first night we went, I got poutine and boneless wings and my husband got the club wrap. The second night, my husband got the wrap again and I got a french dip. All our meals were very good. We would def recommend this restaurant.

Summer lunch.

Went for a casual lunch and sat outside on their great patio. Our server was Nicole, who was awesome. Ordered their taco salad(with beef) and was very good. Filling for sure. Would definitely order it again and return to the patio as they have a real nice view.

I was here for a few drinks whilst staying local the staff were very friendly and polite the restaurant itself was very clean and well presented and Decor was amazing

My friend pay for my meal The restaurant is bit dark It could use more light Music could be quite for people are sensitive to noise The nachos we’re ok for test The chicken was bit dry Otherwise was ok I did ask the server for other water she don’t bring water to table This is worst restaurant
