We order takeout from Singyun however decided to eat in the restaurant. We ordered breaded veal, breaded shrimp, salt and pepper chicken, deluxe stir fried vegetables and egg foo yung. Everything was hot and delicious. The only reason I deducted a star is we had to remind them one dish was missing which they promptly prepared. This is a very simple place, no fancy decor but they know how to prepare good food!

The extra few minutes of driving are so worth the time and effort. The flavours are so distinct and powerful -even the mixed greens! We have switched from the closer place. Ordered 12-15x the last year and have never been disappointed. If you like spice... tell them! They’ll amp it up.

Easy pickup - small seating space but nice and clean great for a quiet meal. Good quality food - large portions - I can recommend Lemon honey chicken,ginger beef and Cantonese chow mein - I found the S/s shrimps a little doughy but nice sized shrimp - good portions ready right on time - friendly service

Based on previous reviews we ordered from here and ordered a number of dishes. Unfortunately not one was great. They did not even include sweet and sour sauce as other restaurants do. If they had told me I would have ordered the sauce and paid for it. I could not recommend. The people seem very nice.

Singyun is a favourite Chinese restaurant for us. It has great food (we think the best in Winnipeg), generous servings and a very good price. We order take-out and it is always ready on time.

Wow. Had the Cantonese chow mien and egg roll. Delicious and super fresh. $ 11.50 + tax. Unbelievable. Could’ve fed two.

Food was delicious and hot!! Take out only and went there to order. Took a bit of time for our order but so worth the wait time! Ordered four dishes got a free chicken fried rice and there was sooooo much food!! My go to Chinese in Winnipeg!

Excellent food at fair prices. Will definitely be back!! I called in the order and by the time we were there to pick it up, everything was ready to go. I normally dont bother with reviews, but i had to make an exception.

Went to this place as it is rated # 1 in Winnipeg by TripAdvisor. The food was good , fresh and tasty as I went for the Buffet. It was not the best I have ever had but well worth a try as it was good enough that I would go again but I have a better place in Winnipeg according to my liking.

We tried 6 different dishes and raved about each one. Even something as simple as egg foo yung was excellent. Try it, you'll be back, so will I.

We opted to try a Chinese food restaurant for takeout based on other Trip advisor reviews and we weren't disappointed.
The dishes we ordered were very good and the portions were generous. We have enough leftovers for another meal.
We also found the prices very reasonable.
We will definitely order from Singyun again.

Discovered a takeout menu and decided to order. To my surprise the food was delicious and flavorful. There was plenty of food for the price and a lot of left overs. I was amazed how everything was so tasty. This is now my #1 place to order from.

Was looking to try a new Chinese restaurant in town and found Singyun on trip advisor. I was interested & intrigued!
Invited friends to join us on a Saturday evening. Located just off the edge of downtown in the French quarter, we found parking right in front of the restaurant.
It was quiet except for a few folks doing take away. We had the place to ourselves. It’s not fancy by any stretch but bright and clean.
A friendly young man and his mother occasionally, served us and so we ordered up 7 dishes thinking we would have some take home left overs. We did, but dishes were so good & tasty that there wasn’t as much left as we anticipated.
They do have a “spicy” selection in an extensive menu. Food came very hot, quickly & steadily after ordering.
The Singapore style noodles was especially yummy. The ginger beef was delightful as was the pork with snow peas. There was plenty of vegetables in our order that we went for a second noodle dish, Singapore style vermicelli. My new fav!😁 The curry chicken was ok but I would have liked it more if it had a bigger kick. The shrimp in black bean sauce was also special.
Prices are competitive and quantities are generous. We”ll certainly add Singyun to our favourite Chinese places in WINNIPEG to eat going forward.
